WHEREAS, a drainage easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from <br />Blender, LLC in the East Half (E 1/2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW %) of Section Twelve (12), <br />Township Eleven (11) North, Range Ten (10) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Hall County, <br />Nebraska and more particularly described as follows: <br />THE NORTH TEN (10.00) FEET OF THE SOUTH FORTY -THREE (43.00) FEET OF THE EAST <br />HALF (E 1/2) OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER (SW '4) OF SECTION TWELVE (12), <br />TOWNSHIP ELEVEN (11) NORTH, RANGE TEN (10) WEST OF THE SIXTH PRINCIPAL <br />MERIDIAN, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA, EXCEPTING THEREFROM A TRACT OF LAND <br />MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN DEED BOOK 150 — PAGE 349 IN THE REGISTER <br />OF DEEDS OFFICE, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA. <br />WHEREAS, an Agreement for the drainage easement has been reviewed and <br />approved by the City Legal Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, <br />authorized to enter into the Agreement for the drainage easement on the above described tract of <br />land. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, September 9, 2014. <br />Attest: <br />RaNae Edwards, City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION 2014 -272 <br />20 1405738 <br />ex, ayor <br />
