<br /> LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
<br /> OF
<br /> SELMA �. KROHN
<br /> I, Selma M. Krohn, of Grand Island,. Hall County, Nebraska,
<br /> do herewith make publish and dee�ere this to be my Last Will and
<br /> Testament in manner and form as follows:
<br /> FIRST
<br /> I direct my executor hereinafter named to pay all of my
<br /> just debts, expenses of last illness, burial expense, administrative
<br /> expenses and all estate, succession, and inheritance taxes out of
<br /> moneys on hand as soon after my death as can conveniently be. done.
<br /> In the event there is not sufficient money on hand, on deposit in
<br /> any bank at the time of my death to pay all of the foregoing items
<br /> then one-half of these items remaining unpaid shall be paid by my
<br /> son, Meinhard Krohn, or the persons takin� through him, if he is
<br /> not living, and one-half by my daughter, Senta G. Holst, or by those ,
<br /> who take through her under the terms of this Will be she not living.
<br /> SECOND
<br /> I give, devise and bequeath to my dau hter Senta G. Holst
<br /> the West Half of the Southeast Quarter (W2SE4� of Section Twelve (12) ,
<br /> Township Seventy-four (74) , Range Thirty-nine (39) , Pottawattamie
<br /> County, Iowa, and Lot Eight ($) , Block Fourteen (14} , Schimmers
<br /> Addition to the city of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, the
<br /> same being my residence, together with all furniture, furnishings
<br /> and fixtures contained therein at the time of my death and all bonds
<br /> and any cash remaining after payment of the items set forth in the
<br /> first para�raph of this V�ill, to have and to hold the same forever.
<br /> Provided however, if my daughter, Senta G. Holst, is not living at
<br /> the time of my death then all of the provisions made for her under
<br /> this �Vill shall pass and descend to her issue by right of represen-
<br /> tation.
<br /> THI RD
<br /> I give, devise and bequeath to my son Meinhard Yrohn all
<br /> other real estate owned by me in Hall County, Nebraska, and including
<br /> the North One-Half (N2) of Section Four (4) , and the South One-Half
<br /> of the Northeast Quarter (S2NE4) and the North One-I-I�.f of the South-
<br /> east ��uarter (N2SEw) of Section Five (5) , Township Twelve (12} , North,
<br /> Range Nine (9) , West of the 6th P.M. , and in addition thereto all
<br /> shares of stock in any corporation and all other property owned by me
<br /> at the time of my death and not herein specifically devised and in-
<br /> cludin� any notes that may be in my possession at the time of my death
<br /> given either by my son I�ieinhard Krohn or by I�ieinhard Krohn and riis
<br /> wife, Irene Krohn, directing that such notes be returned to him and
<br /> cancelled. Provided further if my son Meinhard Krorin is not living
<br /> at the time of my death and his wife, Irene Kroh�, survives him all
<br /> of the provisions made for my son shall pass and descend to my daughter-
<br /> in-law, Irene Krohn and if neither of them be living at the time of
<br /> my death then the same shall pass and descend to their son, Robert
<br /> Henry Krohn to have and hold the same forever. .
<br /> FOURTH
<br /> In making the foregoing provisions I am mindful of help
