<br /> survive �me, I give this desk and bookcase, instead, to mg daughter, Anne

<br /> "I give all, of the remainder of my household goods, furnishings,
<br /> ; clothing, jewelry and other articles of adornment, and other personal
<br /> effects of no�minal value. to my two daughters, Mary Howe Prescott and
<br /> Anne Howe Hungerford, or to the survivor between them living at the
<br /> time of my death.

<br /> "I give; devise and bequeath all of the rest, residue and re�mainder
<br /> of the assets of my estate of every nature whatsoever and wheresoever
<br /> situated, in. fee simple absolute, and in equal shares, to my two daughters,
<br /> Mary Howe Pr.escott and Anne Howe Hungerford, with right of representa-
<br /> tion for the descendants of zny daughter Mary if she should pre.decease me. ',
<br /> If �my daughter Anne should pred�cease me, her share shall pass, instead, ,
<br /> � to my daughter Mary with right of representation for Mary' s descendants I
<br /> if Mary should also predecease �me.

<br /> "I fully empower my Co-executrices, and their successors in trust,
<br /> in their sole discretion and without requiring the approval of any court
<br /> or beneficiary, and in addition to such powers as are granted them by
<br /> • law, to do th2 following:
<br /> A. Sell any of the assets of my estate, including real estate, at
<br /> such prices and on such terms, and in such manner, whether at private
<br /> or public sale, as my personal representative, or representatives .as
<br /> the case may be, may determine; ;
<br /> B. Retain any assets which are a part of my estate without my '
<br /> personal representative, or representatives as the case may be, incur- I
<br /> ring any personal liability for loss to my estate resulting therefram; il
<br /> C. Settle, adjust, or compro�mise any claims, whether in favor of
<br /> or against my estate upon such t erms as my personal representative,. or I
<br /> representatives as the case may be, may determine; '
<br /> D. Make distribution in kind as well as in cash and at such valua-
<br /> tions as my personal representative, or representatives as the case may

<br /> "I waive any privilege with respect to confidential communications
<br /> had at any ti�me between me and my attorney, Arthur C. Mayer, and had at ' �
<br /> any time between me and any attesting witness to this Wi11.

<br /> day of June, 1966, consisting of three pages, upon the bottom margin
<br /> of the first two pages I have also written my name for greater security. '
