<br /> 5. To proseaute and dePend. To commence, prasecute,
<br /> discontinue, or defend all actiona or other 1egaJ, proceedinqs
<br /> tauching my estate or any part thereof, or touching any matter in
<br /> which I or my estate may be in anywise concerned.
<br /> 6. T� manage real estate. Tc� enter into and upan all and
<br /> singular my real estate, and to 1et, manage, and improve the same
<br /> or any part thereof, and to rep�ir or otherwiae improve, alter,
<br /> or reconstruci:, and to insure, any buildings or structurQs
<br /> thereon, and further �o contract with others for the management
<br /> of such real estate, and to grant to such others a 11 the powsra
<br /> with respect to such real estate usual in real estate management
<br /> contracts, and granted to my said attorney herein.
<br /> 7. To arant leases, receive rents, and otherwise deal with
<br /> tenants and leased property. To contract with any person for
<br /> �leasing for such periods ncludinq periods longer than my life,
<br /> and without regard to the terminati�n of this power of attorney,
<br /> at such rents and subject to such conditions as my attorney shall
<br /> see fit, all or any of my said real estate, and to let any such
<br /> persnn into possession thereof, and to execute all such leases
<br /> and contracts as shall be necessary or proper in that beha lf, and
<br /> to qive notied to quit to any tenant or occupier thereaf, and to
<br /> r.eceive and recaver from all tenants and occupiers thereof or of
<br /> any part thereot all rents, arrears of rent, and sums of money
<br /> which now are or shall hexeafter become due and payable in
<br /> respect thereof, and also on non-paymen� thereof or of any par�
<br /> thereof to take all necessary or proper means and proceedings for
<br /> termina.ting the tenancy or oacupation of such tenanfis or o ccupiers,
<br /> and for ejecting the tenants or uccupi�r� and recovering the
<br /> possession thereof.
<br /> 8. To sell or exchange real or personal estate. To sell�
<br /> either at public or private sale, or exchanqe any part or parts _
<br /> of my real estate or personal property for such cnnsideration,
<br /> payable immediately or upon such terms as my attorney shall think
<br /> fit, and to execute and deliver qood and suf£icient deeds , bills
<br /> of sale, endorsements, assignments, or other instruments for the
<br /> conveyance or transfer of the same, with such covenants of
<br /> warranty or a�herwise as my attorney shall see tit , and to give
<br /> ` good and effec�ual receipts for al1 or any part of �he purchase
<br /> price or other consideration.
