E A S E M E N T <br />WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island, a municipal corporation in Hall <br />County, Nebraska, contemplate the construction of public utilities and <br />desires an easement, or right -of -way, across the tract'of land hereinafter <br />described on which to construct said utilities, and <br />WHEREAS, the grantor, the Johnson Land Company, a Nebraska Corporation, <br />for and in consideration of the payment of One Dollar ($1.00) and other <br />valuable consideration in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknow- <br />ledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said City of <br />Grand Island a perpetual easement over, along and across a certain strip <br />of land sixteen (16) feet in width and seven hundred seventy and five tenths <br />(770.5) feet in length in the West half of the Northeast Quarter 04-t NE-1 <br />of Section Twenty -two (22), Township Eleven (11), North, Range Nine (9), <br />'Test of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described <br />as follows: Beginning on the west line of the Northeast Quarter (NF_!') of <br />said Section Twenty -two (22) and its intersection with the south line of <br />Pleasant View Addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska; thence south <br />on the west line of the Northeast Quarter (NEµ) of said Section Twenty -two <br />(22) for a distance of seven hundred seventy and five tenths (770.5) feet <br />to the southeast corner of Anderson Subdivision to the City of Grand Island, <br />Nebraska; thence east parallel to the south line of said Pleasant View <br />Addition for a distance of sixteen (16) feet; thence north parallel to and <br />sixteen (16) feet east from the west line of the Northeast Quarter (NF-,) <br />of said Section Twenty -two (:22) for a distance of seven hundred seventy <br />and five tenths (770.5) feet to the south line of said Pleasant View Addition; <br />thence west on the south line of said Pleasant View Addition for a distance <br />of sixteen (16) feet to the point of beginning. <br />It is understood and agreed that the City of Grand Island, the grantee, <br />may construct public utilities on the land herein described such as sanitary <br />sewers, water mains and power lines. <br />It is further understood and agreed that the said City of Grand Island, <br />its agents and employees, shall have the right of unrestricted ingress and <br />egress to the land herein described for the purpose of constructing, erecting, <br />maintaining, extending or repairing any of the utilities constructed upon <br />said land. <br />,S " <br />
