<br />ORDINANCE NO. 3870
<br />An 'ordinance directing and authorizing the sale of certain real
<br />est to belonging to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, to Ellanora M.
<br />Golle and Wilfred G. Golle, wife and husband, of the City of Grand Island,
<br />Nebraska, described as a tract of land formerly being a part of a platted
<br />road lying adjacent to and south of Lots Eighteen (18) and Nineteen (19)
<br />in Geer Subdivision, now an Addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br />vacated by said City of Grand Island on the 2nd day of May, 1962, by
<br />Ordinance No. 3805 of said City which is more particularly described as
<br />follows Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot Eighteen (18),
<br />thence running south on a prolongation of the east line of said Lot
<br />Eighteen (18) for a distance of Forty (40) feet to the north line of
<br />Lot Thirty Four (34) in said Geer Subdivision, thence running west on
<br />the north line of said Lot Thirty Four (34) for a distance of One Hundred
<br />Thirty Two (132) feet, thence running north on a prolongation of the
<br />west line of said Lot Nineteen (19) for a distance of Forty (40) feet to
<br />the southwest corner of said Lot Nineteen (19), thence running east on
<br />the south line of said Lots Nineteen (19) and Eighteen (18) for a distance
<br />of One Hundred Thirty Two (132) feet to the point of beginning, providing
<br />for the riving of notice of said sale and giving the terms thereof, and
<br />providing for the right to file a remonstrance against such sale.

<br />SECTION 1. That the sale of the real estate described as a tract
<br />of land formerly being a part of a platted road lying adjacent to and
<br />south of Lots Eighteen (18) and Nineteen (19) in Geer Subdivision, now
<br />an Addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, vacated by said City
<br />of Grand Island on the 2nd day of Yay, 1962, by Ordinance No. 3005 of
<br />said City, which is more particularly described as follows- Eeginning
<br />at the southeast corner of said Lot Eighteen (18),, thence running south
<br />on a prolongation of the east line of said Lot Eighteen (19) for a
<br />distance of Forty (40) feet to the nortn line of Lot Thirty Four (34)
<br />in said Geer Subdivision, thence running west on the north line of said
<br />Lot Thirty Four (34) for a distance of One Hundred Thirty Two (132) feet,
<br />thence running north on a prolongation of the west line of said Lot
<br />nineteen (19) for a distance of Forty (40) feet to the southwest corner
<br />of said Lot Nineteen (19), thence running east on the south line of said
<br />Lots Nineteen (19) and Eighteen (18) for a distance of One Hundred Thirty
<br />Two (132) feet to the point of beginning, be, and the same is hereby
<br />directed, authorized and confirmed unto Ellanora M. Golle and Wilfred G.
<br />Golle, wife and husband.
<br />SECTION 2. The terms of the sale of said real estate are as follows
<br />Purchasers have agreed to convey unto the City of Grand Island tre south
<br />Sixty (60) feet of the north Four Hundred Twenty Six and Eight Tenths
<br />(426.8) feet of Lots Eighteen (18) and Nineteen (19) in Geer subdivision,
<br />now an Addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska. The City shall
<br />give the purchasers a Quit Claim Deed for said premises, and the City
<br />shall not be required to furnish an Abstract of Title.
<br />SECTION 3. As provided by law, notice of such sale and the terms
<br />thereof shall be published for three (3) consecutive weeks in the Grand
<br />Island Daily Independent, a newspaper published in and of general circula-
<br />tion in said City of Grand Island, immediately after the passage and pub-
<br />lication of this ordinance, and the City Clerk is hereby directed and
<br />Instructed to prepare and publish said notice
<br />SECTION 4. ,Authority is hereby granted to the electors of the City
<br />of Grand Island, to file a remonstrance against the sale of the within
<br />described real estate, and if a remonstrance against the sale of the
<br />within describe& real estate, signed by legal electors of the said City
<br />equal in number of thirty (30) per cent of the electors of the City of
<br />Grand Island, voting at the last election held in said City, be filed with
<br />the City Council within thirty (30) days after the passage and publication
<br />of this ordinance, such property shall not then, nor within one (1) year
