<br />An Ordinance to extend the city limits
<br />Hall County, Nebraska, to include tracts of
<br />Southwest Quarter (SOW ) of Section Twenty,
<br />North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M.,
<br />tracts being adjacent and contiguous to the
<br />of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, and
<br />of Grand Island, Nebraska.

<br />present city limits of the City
<br />to annex said tracts to the City
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR,AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,
<br />NEBRASKA:
<br />SECTION 1. That the city limits of the City of Grand Island, Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, bet and they are hereby extended to include tracts of land
<br />In the South Half of the Southwest Quarter (SJSWt) of Section Twenty -one
<br />(21), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M.,,Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, said tracts being adjacent and contiguous to the present
<br />city 1101ts{of the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, and more
<br />particularly described as follows; Beginning at a point on the west line
<br />and one thousand two hundred fifteen and sixty -five hundredths ( 1215.65)
<br />feet north from the southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the
<br />Southwest Quarter (SE4SW4) of Section Twenty- one'(21), Township Eleven (11)
<br />North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, said
<br />point also being the northwest corner of Farmington Subdivision; thence
<br />running east on the north line of Farmington Subdivision and Farmington
<br />Second Subdivision for a distance of nine hundred twenty - eight and eight
<br />tenths (928.8) feet to the northeast corner of Farmington Second Subdivision'
<br />thence running south on the east line of Farmington Second Subdivision for
<br />a distance of nine hundred twenty -four and. one tenths (924.1) feet to the
<br />southeast corner of Farmington Second Subdivision; thence running west on
<br />the south line of Farmington Second Subdivision for a distance of one
<br />hundred forty -nine and five tenths (149.5) feet; thence running south on
<br />the east line of Farmington Second Subdivision for a distance of two
<br />hundred fifty -eight and four tenths (258.4) feet to a point thirty -three
<br />(33) feet north of the south line of said Southeast Quarter of the
<br />Southwest Quarter (SE4SW4), Section Twenty- one (21), thence running west
<br />parallel to and thirty -three (33) feet north from the south line of said
<br />Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SE4SW4), Section Twenty -one
<br />(21) for a distance of seven hundred seventy -eight and five tenths (778.5)
<br />feet to the west line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
<br />(SE'_SW4), Section Twenty -one (21); thence continuing west parallel to and
<br />Thirty -three (33) feet north from the south line of the Southwest Quarter
<br />of the Southwest Quarter (SW4SW4) of said Section Twenty -one (21) for a
<br />distance of thirty -three (33) feet; thence running north parallel to and
<br />thirty -three (33) feet west from the east line of the said Southwest Quarter
<br />of the Southwest Quarter (SW4SW4), Section Twenty -one (21) for a distance
<br />of one thousand one hundred eighty -two and sixty -five hundredths (1182.65)
<br />feet; thence running east for a distance of thirty -three (33) feet to the
<br />point of beginning.
<br />SECTION 2. A plat of said tracts prepared by the City Engineer's
<br />office of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, shall be filed with the City
<br />Engineer and with the City Clerk.
<br />SECTION 3. Each and all of said tracts hereinbefore described are
<br />hereby annexed to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and
<br />after its ppsa.ga,,,v approval and publication as by law provided.
