<br />An Ordinance to extend the city limits of the Ctty, of Grand Island,
<br />Hall County, Nebraska, to include tracts of land iri'.the Southeast Quarter
<br />of the Southeast Quarter (SEISE4) of Section Twenty3(20), Township Eleven
<br />(11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th__P.M., Hall County, Nebraska,
<br />said tracts being adjacent and contiguous to'the present; city limits of the
<br />City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, aid.. -to annex said tracts to,the
<br />City of Grand Island, Nebraska.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE:CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,
<br />NEBRASKA:
<br />SECTION 1. That the city limits of the City of Grand Island, Hall,
<br />County, Nebraska, be, and they are hereby extended to in6lude tracts of
<br />land in the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SEISE4) of Section
<br />Twenty (20), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th
<br />P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, said tracts being adjacent and contiguous -to
<br />the present city limits of the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska,
<br />and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast
<br />corner of Bel -Air Addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska; thence
<br />running south on the east line of Section Twenty (20), Township Eleven (11)
<br />North, Range Nine (9) West of the 6th F.M., Hall County, Nebraska, for a
<br />distance of five hundred ninety -five (595) feet to a point thirty -three (33)
<br />feet north from the south line. of said Section Twenty (20); thence running
<br />west parallel to and thirty -three (33) feet north from the south line of
<br />said Section Twenty (20) for a distance of one hundred seventy -five (175)
<br />feet; thence running north parallel to and one hundred seventy -five (175)
<br />feet west from the east line of said Section Twenty (20) for a distance of
<br />three hundred (300) feet; thence running west parallel to and three
<br />hundred thirty -three (333) feet north from the south line of said Section
<br />Twenty (20) for a distance of one hundred thirty (130) feet; thence running
<br />north parallel to and three hundred five (305) feet west from the east line
<br />of said Section Twenty (20) for a distance of two hundred eighty -eight and
<br />eighty -eight hundredths (288.88) feet to the south line of said Bel- Air....
<br />Addition; thence running east on the south line of said Bel -Air Addition. �
<br />for a distance of three hundred five (305) feet.to the point of beginning.
<br />SECTION 2. A plat of said tracts prepared by the City Engineer's
<br />office of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, shall be filed with the 'City
<br />Engineer and with the City Clerk.
<br />SECTION 3. Each and all of said tracts hereinbefore described are,.
<br />hereby annexed to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska,
<br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in force and take effect from
<br />and after its passage, approval and publication as by law provided.

<br />copy of Ordinance No. 3891, pertaining to annexation of tracts of land in
<br />the SEISE! of Section 20 -11 -9, passed and approved by the Mayor and City
<br />Council meeting in Special Session, October 11, 1962.
