<br />Thereupon, Bayard H. Paine, Jr. moved the adoption of
<br />said Resolution. It was seconded by Charles B. Paine, and a dis-
<br />cussion was called for. Thereafter, the Resolution was put to a
<br />vote and unanimously carried. The Chairman thereupon declared
<br />the Resolution passed, as it had been adopted by more than the
<br />necessary three- fiftns vote of the members present and voting, at
<br />a meeting called for such purpose.

<br />NOTICE TO BE READ FROM THE PULPIT
<br />of Trinity Methodist Church of Grand Island, Nebraska
<br />We are required by the Methodist Discipline, and also
<br />by the laws of the State of Nebraska, to announce special meet-
<br />ings of the Membership and of the Quarterly Conference, for the
<br />purpose and proposed action of voting on the sale of a tract of
<br />land belonging to our Church. This announcement has to be made
<br />from the pulpit each Sunday for three weeks We are announcing
<br />it at each of the regular services on the following Sundays:
<br />September 2, 1962, September 9, 1962, and September 16, 1962.
<br />A Special IUleeting of the Membership of this Church is
<br />being called for Sunday, September 16, 1962, at the hour of 11:20
<br />o'clock, A M., followed immediately thereafter by a Special Meet-
<br />ing of the quarterly Conference. Both meetings will vote on the
<br />sale of a tract of land in the Southwest quarter of Section 24,
<br />in Township 11, North, Range 10, West of the 6th P.M., in Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, containing 21.75 acres, more or less, to the
<br />Grand Island Industrial Foundation, Inc., or its assignees, for
<br />the sum of $8,000,00.
