<br />from the pulpit of said Church. The purpose and proposed action
<br />of said meeting was to vote on the sale of a tract of land in the
<br />Southwest Quarter (SWt) of Section Twenty -four (24)0 in Township
<br />Eleven (11), North, Range Ten (10), West of the 6th P.M., in Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, containing 21.75 acres, more or less, for
<br />$8,000.00, to the Grand Island Industrial Foundation, Inc., or
<br />assignees.
<br />The following Resolution was then presented, namely:
<br />"WHEREAS, Trinity Methodist Church of Grand Island,
<br />Nebraska, has found it desirable to sell a tract of land in the
<br />Southwest Quarter (SWt) of Section Twenty -four (24), in Township
<br />Eleven (11), North, Range Ten (10), West of the 6th P.M., in
<br />Hall County, Nebraska, containing 21.75 acres, more or less, for
<br />$8,000.00, to the Grand Island Industrial Foundation, Inc., or
<br />assignees; and,
<br />WHERFAS, the Grand Island Industrial Foundation, Inc.,
<br />has offered to purchase said property, for either itself or for
<br />Its assignees, for the said sum of $8,000.00;
<br />NOW,THEFUORE, it is hereby resolved that the Quarterly
<br />Conference of Trinity Methodist Church of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br />does hereby approve said sale to said Grand Island Industrial
<br />Foundation, Inc., or assignees, and at said amount of $3,000.00,
<br />and does hereby authorize and direct its Board of Trustees to
<br />take any and all necessary steps and actions, and to execute such
<br />instruments as may be necessary or advisable, such instruments to
<br />be signed by the Chairman and Secretary, or any other two officers,
<br />of said Board of Trustees, and to enter into such contracts and
<br />agreements as may be necessary or proper, in order to carry out
<br />the sale and conveyance by waroanty deed of the following de-
<br />scribed property, to -wit:
<br />A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter
<br />(SWI) of Section Twenty -four (24) in Township
<br />Eleven (11), North, Range Ten (10j, West of the
<br />6th P.M., in Hall County, Nebraska, more rexticu-
<br />iarly described as follows;
<br />Beginning at a point on the east -west one -
<br />half section line through said Section 24, said
<br />point being located 1324.5 feet west of the center
<br />of said Section 24, said point also being the in-
<br />tersection of the said east -west one -half section
<br />line and the west line extended of a tract pre-
<br />viously deeded and recorded in Book 73, Pege 596,
<br />of Deed Records, thence running southerly 824.2
<br />feet along a line which deflects 900 50' from
<br />said east -west one -half section line extended,
<br />thence deflecting left 900 a distance of 375 feet,
<br />thence deflecting left 10 a distance of 772.1
<br />feet to a point on the west boundary of land pre-
<br />viously deeded and recorded in Book 102, Page 579
<br />of Deed Records, thence deflecting left 900 and
<br />running along and upon the west boundary of said
<br />previously deeded land a distance of 821.8 feet
<br />to the east -west one -half section line, thence
<br />deflecting left 900 10' and running west along
<br />and upon the said east -west one -half section
<br />line 1161.5 feet to the point of beginning and
<br />containing 21.75 aores,more or less;
<br />Excepting therefrom a small tract contain-
<br />ing 0.05 acre, more or less, previously conveyed-
<br />to The State of Nebraska, for highway purposes,
<br />which deed is dated September 14, 1961, and is
<br />recorded in Book 136, at Page 201, in the Deed
<br />Records, in the Office of the Register of
<br />Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska.
