the Methodist Church, and of the laws of the State of Nebraska,
<br />with respect to the sale of church -owned real estate, proper
<br />notice of this meeting, and of its purpose and proposed action,
<br />was given for three weeks, prior to the time of this meeting, at
<br />each of the regular Church services on Sunday, September 2, 1962,
<br />September 9, 1962, and September 16, 1962, by announcement from
<br />the pulpit of said Church, The purpose and proposed action of
<br />said meeting was to vote on the sale of a tract of land in the
<br />Southwest Quarter (SW *) of Section Twentyafour (24), in Township
<br />Eleven (11), North, Range Ten (10), West of the 6th P.M., in Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, containing 21.75 acres, more or less, for
<br />48,000.00, to the Grand Island Industrial Foundation, Inc., or
<br />assignees.
<br />The following Resolution was then presented, namely:
<br />' "MR3M, Trinity Methodist Church of Grand Island,
<br />Nebraska, has found it desirable to sell a tract of land in the
<br />Southwest Quarter (SW*) of Section Twenty -four (24), in Township
<br />Eleven (11), North, Range Ten (10), West of the 6th P.M., in Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, containing 21.75 acres, more or less, for
<br />$8,000.00, to the Grand Island Industrial Foundation, Inc., or
<br />assignees, and,
<br />WHEREAS, the Grand Island Industrial Foundation, Inc.,
<br />has offered to purchase said property, for either itself or for
<br />its assignees, for the said sum of $8,000.00;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the Member-
<br />ship of Trinity Methodist Church of Grand Island, Nebraska, does
<br />hereby approve said sale to said Grand Island Industrial Founda-
<br />tion, Inc., or assignees, and at said amount of 18,000.00, and
<br />does hereby authorize and direct its Board of Trustees to take
<br />any and all necessary steps and actions, and to execute such in-
<br />struments as may be necessary or advisable, such instruments to
<br />be signed by the Chairman and Secretary, or any other two offi-
<br />cers, of said Board of Trustees, and to enter into such contracts
<br />and agreements as may be necessary or proper, in order to carry
<br />out the sale and conveyance by warranty deed of the following
<br />described property, to -quit:
<br />A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter --
<br />(Swt) of Section Twenty -four (24) in Township
<br />Eleven (11), North, Range Ten (101, 'Vest of
<br />the 6th P.M., in Hall County, Nebraska, more
<br />particularly described as follows:
<br />Beginning at a point on the east -vest
<br />one -half section line through said Section 24,
<br />said point being located 1324 5 feet west of
<br />the center of said Section 24, said point also
<br />being the intersection of the said east -west
<br />one -half section line and the west line extend-
<br />ed of a tract previously deeded and recorded
<br />In Book 73, Page 696, of Deed Records, thence
<br />running southerly 824.2 feet along a line
<br />which, deflects 900 50t from said east -west
<br />one -half section line extended, thence deflect-
<br />ing left 900 a distance of 375 feet, thence de-
<br />fleoting left 10 a distance of 772.1 feet to a
<br />point on the west boundary of land previously
<br />deeded and'recorded in Book 102, Page 679 of
<br />Deed Records, thence deflecting left 900 and
<br />running along and upon the west boundary of
<br />said previously deeded land a distance of 821.8
<br />feet to the east -west one -half section line,
<br />thence deflecting left 900 10, and running
<br />west along and upon the said east -west one -
<br />half section line 1161.5 feet to the point of
