17. Notices. Except as otherwise expressly provided by law, all required or permitted notices or <br />communications between the parties shall be in writing and be deemed duly served and given <br />when personally delivered to the other party, or, in lieu of such personal service, when deposited <br />in the United States mail, first -class postage prepaid, addressed to Lessee or to Lessor at the <br />address set forth opposite such party's signature to this lease. Either party may change his <br />respective address for this purpose by giving written notice of such change to the other party in <br />the manner provided in this paragraph. <br />18. Binding Effect: Nonassignment. This Lease shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit <br />of both parties and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns. <br />However, nothing herein shall be construed as Lessor's consent to any assignment of this Lease <br />or any interest herein by Lessee except as provided in Paragraph 13. <br />19. Time of Essence. Time is of the essence with respect to the obligations of the parties to this <br />Lease. <br />20. Non - Waiver. Lessor's waiver of any breach of any provision of this Lease shall not <br />constitute a continuing waiver or a waiver of any subsequent breach by Lessee of either the same <br />or any other provisions hereof. <br />21. Headings. Headings in this lease are for convenience only and shall not be used to interpret <br />or construe its provisions. <br />22. Governing Law. This lease shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws <br />of the State of Nebraska. <br />23. Counterparts. This Lease may be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which shall <br />be deemed an original but all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument. <br />24. Entire Agreement.
