<br /> afforded the other party hereto a reasonabie period after the giving ot such notice to take corrective
<br /> action.If Applicable Law provides a time period which must elapse before certain action can be taken,

<br /> acceleration and oppatunity to cure gi��en to Borroever pursuant ro Section 22 and the notice of

<br /> 29. Hazardou�Substances.As used in this Section 21:(a) `Hazardaus Substances"are tlioee
<br /> subsiances defined as loxic or hazardous substances,pollutanls,or wastes by Environmental Lav✓and
<br /> the following substances: gasoline, kerosene, other ilamma6le or toxic petroleum products, toxic
<br /> pesticides and her6icides, volatile solvents, materials containing asbestos or formaldehyde, and .
<br /> radioaciive matenais;(b)"Environmental Law"means federal laws and laws of the j�risdiction where
<br /> the Property is located that relaiP to healffi, safety or environmental proteciion; (c) "Environmental
<br /> Cleanup"includes any response action,remedial action,or removal action,as defined in Environ mental
<br /> Law; and (d) an "Ernironmentai Condition" means a condition that can cause, contribute to, or
<br /> oiherviise trigger an Environmental Cleanup.
<br /> Borrower shall not cause or permit the presence, use, disposai, storage, or release of any
<br /> Hazardous Substances, or threaten to re�ease any Hazardous Substanr,es, on or in tihe Property.
<br /> Borrower shail rcot dq nor allow anyone aise to do,anything aHecting the Propetty(a)that is in vlolation
<br /> of any Environmenial L;w, (b}which creates an Environmental Condition, or (c)which, due to the
<br /> presence,use,orrelease of a Hazardous Substance,creates a condition that advcrsely aitects the value
<br /> ofi the Property.The preceding riuo seniences shall not apply to the presence, use,or siorage on the
<br /> Property of small quantities of Hnzardous Subsiances that are generally recognized to ba appropriate
<br /> m normal residential uses and to maintenance oFthe Property(including,but not limited to,hazardous
<br /> substances in consumer products).
<br /> Borrowershall promptly givc LenderwriHen notice ot(a)any investigation,claiin,demand,lavrsuit
<br /> or other action by any govemmental or regulatory agency or private party imolving the Properry and
<br /> any Nazardaus Substance or Environmental Law of which Borrower has actuai knowledge, (b) any
<br /> Environmentai Condition,including butnotlimited to,anyspilling,leaking,discharge,release or threat
<br /> of release of any Hazardous Substance,and(c)any condition caused by the presence,use or release
<br /> of a Hazardous Suhstance which adversely aRects the value of the Property. if Borrower learns,or is
<br /> notitied by any governmental or regWatory authoriry, or any prluate paRy, that any removal or other
<br /> remediation ot any Hazardous Substance affocting the Property is necessary,Borrowershall promptly
<br /> take all necessary remediai actions in accordance with Environmentai Law.Nothing herein shall create
<br /> any obligation on Lender for an Environmental Cleanup.
<br /> NON-UNIFORM COVENANTS.Borrower and Lenderfurther covenant and agree as follows:
<br /> 22.Acceleratlon; fiemedips. Lender shall give notice to Borrower pdor to acceleration
<br /> following Borcower's€�reach of eny covenani or agreement in this Securlty InsSrument(but not
<br /> prior to acceleration under Section 18 unless Appllca6le Law provides otherwise).The notice
<br /> shail specify:(a)the default;(b}the action required to cure the defaul4;(c)a date,not less than
<br /> 30 days from the dute the noiice is given io Bonower,by which the default must ho cured;and
