<br /> QUITCLAIM DEED
<br /> 1. The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its City Council
<br /> on Ma,rch 6, 1972, enacted Ordinance No. 5177 which directed the conveyance
<br /> of the real estate described below and the manner and terms thereof.
<br /> ' 2. Ordinance No. 5177 was published in the Grand Island Dai1y Independent,
<br /> a legal newspaper published in and of general circulation in such city on
<br /> March 10, 1972, and immediately thereafter, notice of such .sale and the terms
<br /> thereof were published in the Grand Island Dai1y Independent for three conse-
<br /> cutive weeks on March 13, Nlarch 20, and March 27, 1972, a11 as required by
<br /> ' Section 16-202, R.R.S. 19�+3.
<br /> 3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City Council of
<br /> the: City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and
<br /> publication of such Ordinance No. 5177. .
<br /> �+. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 5177 provides that if no remonstrance be
<br /> filed against such conveyance, the mayor and city clerk shall make, execute,
<br /> and deliver to Carl N. Condon and Constance R. Condon a quitclaim deed for
<br /> said real estate and the execution of such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized
<br /> without further action on behalf of the City Council. `
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal
<br /> corporation in Hal1 County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration of Seven
<br /> Hundred Eight Dollars and Ninety-four Cents ($708.9�+) received from Grantees,
<br /> does hereby quitclaim, grant, bargain, se11, and convey unto
<br /> CARL N. CONDON and CONSTANCE R. CONDON,
<br /> as joint tenants with right of survivorship and not as tenants in common,
<br /> herein called the Grantees, the following described real property in Ha11
<br /> County, Nebraska: .
<br /> NEBRASK DA OCU MENTARY. That part of platted Beta Street vacated by Ordinance
<br /> STAMP TAX NO• �+932 of the City of Grand Island, being al1 of
<br /> � vacated Beta Street lying between the north line of
<br /> ' �1U►_ 2 0 19,2
<br /> 7 llth Street and the north line of Di11 and Huston
<br /> Addition, containing 6,000 square feet, more or 1ess,
<br /> �� SY said vacated street as shown on the attached plat
<br /> marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
<br /> herein by reference.
<br /> To have and to hold the above described premises, together'with all tenements,
<br /> hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the Grantees and to
<br /> Grantees' heirs and assigns forever.
<br /> IN 4TITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor has caused its corporate seal to be
<br /> affixed and this instrument to be signed by the President of the Council and
<br /> attested by the City Clerk.
