saes .. <br />—6— <br />It is understood and agreed that the City of Grand Island, the <br />grantee, may construct-public utilities on the land herein described <br />such as sanitary sewers, water mains and power lines, provided, how- <br />ever, that all manholes shall be so constructed that the tops of <br />v <br />the same shall be at least eighteen (18) inches below the surface <br />of,the ground, and all sewer and water mains shall be installed or <br />constructed at'such a depth as not to interfere with the plowing, <br />cultivating or harvesting of any crops grown on said land herein <br />''described:, It is further understood that all poles.used for power <br />and light lines hereinafter erected by the grantee, the City of <br />Grand Island, shall be erected on the property line of the land here- <br />in described. <br />It is further understood and agreed that the said City of <br />Grand Island, its agents and employees, shall have the right of un- <br />restricted ingress and egress to the land herein described for the <br />purpose of constructing, erecting, maintaining, extending or repair- <br />ing any of.the utilities constructed upon said land. It is under - <br />s -kood Grid agreed that, should the City of Grand Island cause any dam- <br />.age to -the fences erected, or to crops growing on said premises, <br />that the said City will repair such fences and pay the grantors for <br />such, daii ge,s. <br />It is further understood and agreed that the interest, rights, <br />land privileges herein conveyed to the said City of Grand Island shall <br />be, perpetual, and shall run with the title to the land, and shall be <br />3.P3 <br />
