AFFIDAVIT <br />STATE OF Nebraska ) <br />) ss <br />COUNTY OF Custer ) <br />On this 16th day of May 1960, I, Wayne D. Schmitz, Secretary- Treasurer <br />of the Custer Federal Savings and Loan Association of Broken Bow, <br />Broken Bow, Nebraska, hereby certify that on August 14th, 1956, <br />Leland L. Karle and Betty J. Karle, each in his and her own right <br />and as spouse of each other executed a mortgage in the amount of <br />410,900.00 on Lot Thirty Four (34), in 'Vest Heights Second Addition, <br />to the City of Grand Island, to Custer Federal Savings and Loan <br />Association of Broken Bow. The first payment on this mortgage was <br />due January the 1st, 1957, and the final payment of principal <br />and interest was due December 1st, 1982. Then on July the 23rd, 1957, <br />Leland L. Karle and Betty J. Karle, each in his and her own right <br />and as spouse of each other, gave a mortgage in the amount of <br />X10,900.00 on Lot Thirty Four (34), in 'crest Heights Second Addition, <br />to the City of Grand Island, to Custer Federal Savings and Loan <br />Association of Broken Bow, on which the first payment was due on <br />January lst, 1957, and the final payment due December 1st, 1981. <br />This is to further certify that the mortgage taken on the 23rd day <br />of July 1957, was actually a correction of the mortgage taken on <br />the 14th day of August 1956. The August 14th, 1956, mortgage <br />having a maturity date of one year longer than was necessary. We <br />further certify that the total indebtedness due this institution on <br />this property is 410,425.87 as of this 16th day of 1%lay, 1960. This <br />loan is payable at the rate of 41% per annum on the unpaid balance <br />until paid.
