AFFIDAVIT AND RELEASE. <br />AFFECTING THE TITLE TO THE EASTERLY NINE (9) FEET OF LOT SEVEN (7) <br />AND ALL OF LOT EIGHT (8) IN BLOCK SIXTY NINE (69) IN THE ORIGINAL <br />TOWN, NOW CITY, OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA. <br />STATE Oi NEBRASKA. <br />COUNTY OF OU <br />DGLAS.,____^ ( ss. <br />Anker Howard Hirst, being first duly sworn, states that <br />he is of legal a e, and a resident of the State of Tisconsin; that he is <br />a son of Lena. l"vi kins, late a resident of Hall County, Nebraska, and is <br />well and personally acquainted with all members of the family and knows <br />of his own personal knowledge that the facts hereinafter set forth are <br />true; that he is well and personally acquainted with Fred 0. Wilkins, who <br />on June 3, 1921 executed a Power of Attorney in favor of Y.H. Wilkins, <br />which Power of Attorney is of record in the Office of the Register of <br />Deeds of Hall County, Nebraska, and is recorded in Book OCIII at Page 370 <br />of the 'discellaneous Records of aaid County, and with Frederick Oscar <br />Wilkins- who by his Attorney in fact, Vatthew Henry Wilkins, conveyed <br />said above described premises to Eugene Houchin, by Warranty Deed recorded <br />in Book 64 at Page 537 of the Deed Records of Hall County, Nebrf „ska, and <br />afffiant positively knows that Fred 0. Wilkins and ?f.H. Wilkins, as stated <br />in said Power of Attorney, are one an*he same persons as Frederick Oscar <br />Wilkins and I.Tat thew Henry Wilkins, as 'they appear in the Warranty Deed <br />Recorded in Book 64 at Page 537 of the Deed Records of Hall County, Ne- <br />braska, notwithstanding the discrepancy in names. <br />a d,wI o. si4gcfiant further states that he is the same identical �Da.rty <br />name ii tie �ower of Attorney recorded in Book '*0” at ' --i e 369 o:_ she <br />Miscellaneous Records of `'_.' 1 County, Nebraska, wherein I appoint - <br />Edward William Hirst, as -my lawful atytorney, during my a.:;ence frun the <br />State, for me and in my name place and for me use to sell and convey <br />my land and appurtenances or any parcel thereof situate in the State of <br />Nebraska, either by private contract or by public auction c&c. ". Affiant <br />further states that he is one of the grantees in the mortgage conveying <br />an undivided one fifth interest in above described premises, Thich said <br />mortgage is recorded in Book 61 at Page 108 of the Mortgage Records of <br />Hall County, Nebraska, and which said mortgage was released, as o my <br />interest therein by release signed "A.H. Hirst, By E.W. Hirst, y poser <br />of Attorney, which release is recorded in Book 24 at Page 690 of the <br />Release lo`� nments Records of Hall County, Nebraska. I hereby <br />ratify„ in every respect,sadd release, as signed by my attorney in fact, <br />send release and quit -claim to the present record owners of said property <br />any and all interest, lien, or claim of whatever character, I have, or <br />appear of record to have in said premises, by virtue of the mortgage <br />recorded in Book 61 at Page 108 of the Vortgage Records of Hall County, <br />Nebraska. And I further certify that I am the same identical person nrho <br />is described in said above referred to mortgage and release as A.H.
