CONTRACT FOR SALE OF REAL ESTATE
<br />This Agreement made the 1st day of May, 1959, between Ernest J. Dalgas
<br />and Alma P. Dalgas, each in his and her own right and as spouse of the other,'
<br />hereinafter called the vendors, of the one part, and Helene. Luett and Robert
<br />Luett, wife and husband, hereinafter call the purchasers, of the other part,
<br />WITNESSETH as follows:
<br />I.
<br />The vendors, in consideration of the covenants hereinafter contained on
<br />the part of the purchasers, hereby sell and agree to convey unto the purchasers
<br />by warranty deed in the usual form, upon the prompt and full performance by
<br />the purchasers of the terms of this agreement, a good and clear title, free from
<br />all enbumbrances, to the following,.de,sc•ribed premises:
<br />A part of Lot Fifteen (15), County Subdivision, of part of
<br />the South One -half (SZ) of the Southeast Quarter (SE4),
<br />Section Sixteen (16), Township Eleven (11) North, Range
<br />Nine (9), West of the 6th P. M. , Hall County, Nebraska;
<br />more particularly described as follows:
<br />Beginning at the Southeast Corner of said Lot Fifteen (15),
<br />proceeding thence North along the Easterly boundary of
<br />such Lot Fifteen (15), Eighty feet (801); thence West at
<br />right angles a distance of Seventy -eight feet (781); thence
<br />South at right angles a distance of Eighty feet (80'), to
<br />the South boundary of said Lot Fifteen (15); thence East
<br />at right angles a distance of Seventy -eight feet (781), to
<br />the point of beginning, said Lot having a frontage of
<br />Eighty feet (80') on South Cleburn Street and a frontage
<br />of Seventy -eight feet (781) on West John Street, in the
<br />City of Grand Island, Nebraska;
<br />Iron pipes have been set at the Northeast, the
<br />Northwest, and the Southwest Corners of the
<br />above - described tract.
<br />II.
<br />The purchasers, in consideration of the premises, covenant with the
<br />vendors as follows:
<br />(1) To pay to the vendors as and for the purchase price of the said premises
<br />the sum o.`_ $10, 000. 00, of which the sum of $1, 000. 00 has been paid, the receipt
<br />whereof the vendors acknowledge, and the remainder in mozlthly installments of
<br />not less than $50. 00 each on the first day of each month, beginning June 1, 1959,
<br />until the whole of the said principal sum shall have been paid, with interest on
<br />all deferred payments, computed upon the balance remaining due from time to
<br />time from the date hereof until paid, at the rate of 5% per annum, such interest
<br />to be paid semi - annually, and deductions for payments made to be made semi-
<br />annually.
<br />(2) To pay all taxes and assessments that may be levied, assessed, or
<br />become due upon the said premises before any penalty would accrue thereon if
<br />unpaid, and to exhibit the receipt therefor to the vendors.
