WHEREAS, it appears desirable and necessary to provide an easement <br />for public utilities along -the North 'boundary ,of the premises owned by Hall <br />County Housing Authority and the City of Grand Island is presently desirous <br />of installing a sewer line along, said North boundary. line if an easement is <br />made avail" to the City of Grand Island for such purposes, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners <br />of the Hall County Housing Authority that the Chairman and Secretary of the <br />Board be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute and de- <br />liver to the City of Grand Island a deed providing for a perpetual easement in <br />favor of the City of Grand Island for utilities purposes along the premises <br />described as follows: <br />Over, along and across a certain strip of land Sixteen (16) feet in <br />width and approximately One Thousand Thirty -Six and Five Tenths <br />(1036. 5) feet in length, more particularly described as follows: <br />Commencing on the north line of the South Half of the <br />Northeast Quarter• (S. 1/2 N. E. 1/4) of Section Seventeen <br />(17), in Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9), <br />West of the 6th P. M. in Hall County, Nebraska, and its <br />intersection with the west line of White Avenue in the <br />City of Grand Island, Nebraska; running thence west on <br />the north line of said South Half of the Northeast <br />Quarter (S. 1/2 N. E. 1/4) to the east line of Carey Avenue, <br />also being the southeast corner of Lot Five (5), Block <br />Seven (7), Dill and Huston's Addition to the City of <br />Grand Island, Nebraska; running thence south on the east <br />line of Carey Avenue, Sixteen (16) feet; running thence <br />east parallel to the north line of said South Half of <br />the Northeast Quarter (S. 1/2 N. E. 1/4) to the west line <br />of said White Avenue; running thence north on the west <br />line of said White Avenue, Sixteen (16) feet to the place <br />of beginning, <br />which easement shall provide that the City of Grand Island shall, in no <br />manner move, damage, or in any other manner interfere with the utilities <br />system now occupying portions of said described land and owned by the <br />Hall County Housing Authority. <br />Dated at Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, this 11th day off <br />October, 1958. <br />Y <br />Chairman <br />��sfGPQL <br />
