STATE OF NEBRASKA ) A F_F I D A V I T <br />ss. <br />COUNT OF HALL } in Re. <br />The Northerly one -half of Lot Ten (10) in <br />Block Twelve (12) in Rollin's Addition to <br />the City of Grand Island, in Hall County, <br />Nebraska <br />I. Frank Bowen, being first duly sworn, on my oath depose and positively <br />state that I and Anna M. Bowen, who was my wife until the date of her death, <br />acquired title to the Lot 10 in Block 12 in Rollinst Addition to the City of <br />Grand Island, in Hall County, Nebraska as Joint Tenants with right of survivorship <br />between us by virtue of the Warranty Deed recorded in Book 73 at Page 477 of the <br />Deed Records of Hall County, Nebraska; that the entire purchase price of said <br />real estate was paid for by me and that no part of such purchase price was <br />paid by my said wife Anna M. Bowen from any funds or property of her own <br />separate Estate or earnings; I further positively state that my said wife <br />Anna M. Bowen departed this life at Grand Island, Nebraska, on September 11, <br />1957; that at the time of her death she was a resident of Hall County, Nebraska, <br />and at the time of her death the Northerly one -half of Lot 10 in Block 12 in <br />Hollins' addition to the City of Grand Island, In Hall County, Nebraska, con- <br />stituted the homestead of my said wife and myse),f; I further positively state <br />that my said wife died intestate leaving no Last Will and Testament; that her <br />only children were the two children born to her and myself, both of whom sur- <br />vived my said wife, and are our daughters, Esther Harrington of Grand Island, <br />Nebraska and Irene Timpke of Ogden, Utah, and accordingly the heirs -at -law of <br />my said wife Anna M. Bowen are myself and two above -named daughters; <br />I further positively state that my said wife, at the time of her death, <br />was the owner of no other property nor interest in any other property whatsoever <br />as sole owner, joint oimer, or as a tenant in common with anyone else; that the <br />above- described real estate, namely the Northly one -half of said Lot 10 above <br />described, had a fair and reasonable market value on September 11, 1957 of <br />not to exceed X7,500.00, and was encumbered at the time of my said wife's <br />death by a real estate mortgage recorded in Book 96 at Page 45 of Real Estate <br />Mortgage RI.ecords of Hall County, Nebraska on which mortgage there was an unpaid <br />balance owing of 112.85 on September 11, 1957. <br />Further affiant saith not. <br />j� 'xibSir�' �ci in my presence and sworn o be `ore me this day of February, 1958. <br />Notary Public <br />Register of Deeds <br />Filed for record February 10, 1958, at 1 :55 P.M.
