In the matter of the title of Lots Four (4) and Five (5), <br />Block Eleven`(11), Gilbert's Addition to the City of <br />Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska <br />STATE OF NE3RASKA ) <br />(SS: AFFIDAVIT <br />COU TY OF HALL ) <br />B. J. Cunnin2�iam, being first duly sworn deposes <br />and says that he wag acquainted with Frank E. Castle, former <br />owner of the above lots, for more then thirty years previous <br />to his death; that at the time of his death he was the owner <br />of the following described.real estate, to -wit: <br />Lot Four (4) in Block Eleven (11), Gilberts Addition <br />to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />(Vacant Lot) <br />Lot Five (5) in Block Eleven (11), Gilberts Addition <br />to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />(House and Lot) <br />Lot Seven (7), in Block Seventy -five (75), Wheeler & <br />Bennett's Third Addition to the City -of Grand Island,, <br />Hall County, Nebraska. (House and Lot). <br />L6t Five (5) in Block One Hundred Thirty -three (133) <br />of Union Pacific Railway Company's Second Addition to <br />the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />(House and Lot). <br />that he was also the owner of personal property of the value <br />of less then $300.00. <br />Affiant further.states that he was well acquainted <br />real estate <br />with the above describe(i4 that he arranged for the sale of the <br />said property; that the tde.l sale price of said real estate was <br />$10,555.00; that there were costs of administration, etc. <br />amounting to over $500.00 and that there was a mortgage on the <br />premises to the Equitable Building and Loan Association in the <br />sum of $3,000.00; that on the date of the death of the said <br />Frank E. Castle, to -wit: August 10, 1945, the balande due <br />on said mortgage to the Equitable Building and Loan Association <br />was ;2,708.90; affiant further states that he was the attorney <br />for the administrator of the Frank E. Castle estate and that dis- <br />tribution of the proceeds of all of the above described property <br />was made through the administrator and affiant knows of his own <br />personal knowledge that the property vas sol? for the price above <br />stated and that the proceeds thereof amounted'to less then <br />$9,000.00 and were paid to Elwood L. Castle. <br />
