ORDINANCE NO 1928. <br />"An Ordinance authorizing and directing the sale of certain <br />real estate belonging to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, <br />providing the manner in which the same shall be sold and the terms <br />of said sale; providing for the giving of notice of the sale of said <br />real estate and the terms thereof; and, providing for the right to <br />file a remonstrance against the sale thereof signed by legal electors <br />of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, equal in number to thirty per <br />cent (30%) of the electors of said City, voting at the last regular <br />municipal election held in said City. <br />BE IT ORDA:dI sD BY THE 1,iAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND <br />ISLAND, NEBRASKA: <br />Section 17 The sale and conveyance of real estate hereinafter <br />described is hereby directed and authorized to Leal Wilson, of the <br />City of Grand Island, Nebraska. <br />The property directed and authorized to be conveyed is described <br />as follows: <br />Lots seven and eight ( 7 & 8), Block eleven (11), <br />Packer and Barr's Addition to the City of Grand <br />Island, Hall County, Nebraska <br />Section 2. The manner and terms of said sale of said real estate <br />are as follows: The purchaser, Leal Wilson, agrees to pay seven hun- <br />dred fifty ($750.) Dollars for the within described real estate and <br />has paid to the City Treasurer of the City of Grand Island the sum of <br />twenty -five ($25) dollars as a down payment therefore, and the balance <br />of seven hundred twenty -five ($725) dollars will be paid in full upon <br />the execution and delivery of a Quit Claim deed by the City to the <br />said purchaser. The City shall not be required to furnish an abstract <br />of title. <br />Section 3. As provided by law, notice of such sale and the terms <br />thereof shall be published for three consecutive weeks in the Grand Is- <br />land Daily Independent, a newspaper published in and of general circu- <br />lation in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, immediately after the pas- <br />sage and publication of this ordinance; and the City Clerk is hereby <br />directed and instructed to prepare and publish said notice. <br />Section 4.
