ORDINANCE NO. U O2 <br /> An Ordinance directing and authorizing the sale of the real <br /> estate described as all that part of Cleburn Street lying between <br /> the north line of Fifth Street and the south line of Sixth Street <br /> in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska; directing the sale of said <br /> real estate to the School District of the City of Grand Island, in <br /> the County of Hall, in the State of Nebraska; providing for the <br /> giving of notice of such sale and giving the terms thereof, and <br /> providing for the right to file a remonstrance against the sale of <br /> said real estate. <br /> WHEREAS, the School District of the City of Grand Island, in <br /> the County of Hall, in the State of Nebraska, desires to acquire by <br /> purchase, all that part of Cleburn Street lying between the north <br /> line of Fifth Street and the south line of Sixth Street in the City <br /> of Grand Island, Nebraska, for the purpose of providing playgrounds <br /> for the new Walnut Junior High School, and the City Council of <br /> Grand Island on the 6th day of July, 1955, passed and approved <br /> Ordinance No. 1100 vacating said street. <br /> NOR, TE R FO{E, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> GRAND I SLAND, NEBRA zYXA: <br /> SECTION 1. That the sale of all that part of Cleburn Street <br /> lying between the north line of Fifth Street and the south line of <br /> Sixth Street in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, <br /> such street having been vacated by Ordinance No.1100 of the <br /> ordinances of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, belonging to the <br /> said City of Grand Island, to the School District of the City of <br /> • Grand Island, in the County of Hall, in the State of Nebraska, be, <br /> and the same is hereby directed, authorized and confirmed. <br /> SECTION 2. The manner and terms of said sale of such real <br /> estate are as follows: The puronaser agrees to pay to the City of <br /> Grand Island the sum of One Dollar (0.00). It is understood and <br /> agreed that the School District shall at its own expense construct <br /> curb and gutter and sidewalks for the use of the public, across <br /> said Cleburn Street at both Fifth Street and Sixth Street. The <br /> purchaser agrees to pay for the cost of all legal publications. <br /> �S- <br />
