ORDINANCE NO. 3100 <br /> An Ordinance vacating that part of Cleburn Street lying between <br /> the north line of Fifth Street and the south line of Sixth Street <br /> and reserving title thereto in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, <br /> vacating the easterly 52.8 feet of the alley in Block Eight (8), <br /> Rollin's Addition, lying between Lots One (1) and Ten (10) of <br /> said Block Eight (8), and all of the alley in Block Three (3), <br /> Gladstone Place, all in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, <br /> Nebraska. <br /> WHEREAS, the School District of the City of Grand. Island, Nebr- <br /> aska, has requested the City Council to vacate that part of Cleburn <br /> Street lying between the north line of Fifth Street and the south <br /> line of Sixth Street and the easterly 52.8 feet of the alley in <br /> Block Eight (8), Rollin's Addition which lies between Lots One (1) <br /> and Ten (10), Block might (8) of said Rollin's Addition, for the <br /> purpose of providing playgrounds for the new Walnut Junior High <br /> School, and <br /> WHREAS, the said School District has requested the City Council <br /> to vacate all of the alley in Block Three (3), Gladstone Place on <br /> which a new school has been erected. <br /> NOV , TH .RE PO R: , BE IT ORDAINED INa D BY TT 6Z. That the easterly 52.8 feet of the alley in Block <br /> Eight (8), Rollin's Addition to the City of Grand Island, lying <br /> between Lots One (1) and Ten (10) of ,said Block Light (8), and all <br /> of the alley in Block Three (3), Gladstone Plane, an addition to <br /> the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, be, and the same are hereby <br /> vacated. <br /> SACTION 2. That the alleys so vacated shall revert to the <br /> owners of the adjacent real estate one-half on each side thereof; <br /> provided however, the said City of Grand Island hereby reserves <br /> unto itself an easement over,, along and across said alleys so va- <br /> cated on which to construct, operate and maintain utilities. <br /> 6Z/ <br />
