SCHROEDER, being first duly sworn, on his oath, <br /> states that on the 25th day of July, 1939, he acquired title to <br /> the following described real estate: <br /> Lot Three (3), Block One Hundred Thirty-two (132) <br /> Union Pacific Railway Company' s Second Addition <br /> to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, <br /> from Gus Schroeder and Margaret Schroeder, husband and wife; that <br /> Gus Schroeder and Margaret Schroeder were parents of this affiant; <br /> that said parents received a fair and reasonable consideration for <br /> said property; that the transfer was not a gift made in contempla- <br /> . tion of death, nor a transfer to avoid taxes of any kind; that sub- <br /> sequently affiant desires to transfer, and did transfer, a life in- <br /> terest in said property to his parents, which affiant did by deed- <br /> ing said property to his pparents on April 2, 1940, which property <br /> his parents on the samen2�econveyed to him reserving a life interestl� <br /> in said property during their natural life. <br /> Affiant states that the transaction on April 2, 1940 was <br /> intended to, and did, constitute a gift transfer by affiant to his <br /> 4.
