<br /> COUNTY OF HALL
<br /> G. L. Bastian, being first duly sworn on oath, deposes and states
<br /> that he is well acquainted with Bernice Marie Carlson Olsen, and has
<br /> known her for more than twenty years.
<br /> Affiant further deposes and states that she was the only daughter
<br /> of Seford G. Carlson and Lulu E. Carlson.
<br /> Affiant further deposes and states that subsequently the said Bernice
<br /> Marie Carlson married George F. Olsen, Jr., but that prior to her
<br /> marriage, she became the owner in fee simple title of the West Half of
<br /> the Northwest Quarter (W -NW ) of Section Thirty-two (32), Township Eleven
<br /> (11) North, Range Twelve (12) West of the 6th P. M. in Hall County,
<br /> Nebraska, together with other lands.
<br /> That on date of June 14, 1954, the said Bernice Marie Carlson Olsen,
<br /> under the name and style of Berenice M. Olsen, signed and acknowledged
<br /> a Warranty Deed which had been prepared by affiant and sent to her for
<br /> the signature and acknowledgement of her and her husband, but that affiant
<br /> knows of his own personal knowledge that said Berenice M. Olsen is one
<br /> and the same person as Bernice Marie Carlson, who was the grantee of a
<br /> certain Warranty Deed dated May 8, 1918, and acknowledged May 10, 1918,
<br /> by her mother, Lulu E. Carlson, then Lulu Carlson Howe, and her
<br /> stepfather, Fred N. Howe, which was filed for record in the office of the
<br /> Register of Deeds in Hall County, Nebraska, on date of May 15, 1918,
<br /> and recorded in Book 54 of Deeds, at Page 424 thereof.
<br /> Affiant further deposes and saith not.
