- - <br /> Page 16. <br /> Upon written request, Lessee will undertake to examine <br /> Lessor's Abstract of Title prior to the recording of this lease, <br /> and based upon such examination shall advise Lessor whether its <br /> title is then satisfactory. Such opinion shall bind the parties <br /> only to the date to which the Abstract shall have been certified <br /> at the time of Lessee 's first examination; and nothing shall re- <br /> lieve Lessor of and from its obligation to establish title at the <br /> time and in the manner provided in the first paragraph of this <br /> Article. <br /> Lessee is not obligated to make any payment of rent <br /> hereunder until such time as it shall have been satisfied as to <br /> Lessor's title in the manner first provided in this Article, and <br /> it is understood that any payment of rent made by Lessee prior to <br /> the completion of its examination of title and its final accept- <br /> ance of the same shall not be construed as a waiver of any of its <br /> rights under this Article or this lease. <br /> ARTICLE XXIII. <br /> EXECUTION: <br /> This lease shall not be binding upon Lessee until signed <br /> on its behalf by its President or a Vice President.
