<br /> QUITCLAIM DEED
<br /> l. The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its City Gouncil
<br /> on June 25, 1973, enacted Ordinance No. 5�+20 which directed the conveyance of
<br /> the real estate described below and the manner and terms thereof.
<br /> 2. Ordinance No. 5�+20 was published in the Grand Island Daily Inclependent,
<br /> a 3egal newspaper published in and of general circulation in such city on June
<br /> 28, Z973, and immediately thereaf'ter, notice of such sale and the terms thereof
<br /> were published in the Grand Island Daily Independent for three consecutive weeks,
<br /> on June 29, 1973; Ju1y 6, 1973; and July 13, 1973, all as required by Section
<br /> 16-202, R.R.S. 19�+3.
<br /> 3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City Council of
<br /> the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passfi,ge and pub-
<br /> lication of such Ordinance No. 5420.
<br /> : �+. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 5�+20 provides that if no remonstrance be
<br /> filed. against such conveyance, the mayor and city clerk shall make, execute,
<br /> and deliver to Manuel Rodriquez a quitclaim deed for said real estate and the
<br /> execution of such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized without further action
<br /> on behalf of the City Council.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal corporation
<br /> in Ha11 County, Nebraska; as Grantor, in consideration of Three Hundred Seventy-
<br /> ' five Dollars ($375.00), received from Grantee, does hereby quitclaim, grant,
<br /> bargain, sell, and convey unto
<br /> MANUEL RODRIQUEZ,
<br /> herein called the Grantee, the following described real property in Hal1 County,
<br /> Nebraska:
<br /> Lot l, B1ock 11, John w, Lambert's Addition to the City of
<br /> Grand Island, Nebraska.
<br /> To have and to hold the above described premises, together with all tenements,
<br /> hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the Grantee and to
<br /> Grantee's heirs and assigns forever.
<br /> IN WITNESS WI�REOF, the Grantor has caused its corporate s.ea]�.;to be affixed
<br /> and this instrument to be signed by the Presiden��'o� �'Yie Council and attested
<br /> by the City Clerk.
