<br /> 2. Ordinance No, 542�+ was published in the Grand Island Dai1y Independent,
<br /> a legal newspaper published in and of general circulation in such city on June
<br /> ` 2$, '1973, and °immediately thereafter, notice of such sale and the terms thereof
<br /> were published in the Grand Island Dai1y Independeizt for three consecutive weeks,
<br /> on June 29, 1973; Ju1y 6� 1973; and July 13, 1973, all as required by Section •
<br /> 16-202, R.R.S. 19�+3•
<br /> 3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City Council of
<br /> the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and pub-
<br /> lication of such Ordinance No. 5�+24.
<br /> �+. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 542�+ provides that if no remonstrance be
<br /> filed against such conveyance, the mayor and city clerk shall make, execute,
<br /> _ and deliver to R. J. Johnson a quitclaim deed for said real estate, and the
<br /> � execution of such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized without f'urther action
<br /> on behalf of the City CounciL
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island� Nebraska� a municipal corporation
<br /> in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration of Two Hundred Ten Dollars
<br /> (�210.00), received from Grantee, does hereby quitclaim, grant, bargain, se11,
<br /> and convey unto
<br /> R. J. JOHNSON,
<br /> herein called the Grantee, the following described real property in Ha11 County,
<br /> Nebraska:
<br /> � Lot 7, B1ock 9, John W. Lambert's Addition to the City of Grand
<br /> Island, Nebraska� except the North 41 feet thereof, and the City
<br /> reserves a five foot wicle easement along the westerly edge of' said
<br /> 1ot for the placement, maintenance, and repair of an underground
<br /> electrical ground wire.
<br /> To have and to hold the above described premises, together with all tenements,
<br /> hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the Grantee and to Grantee's
<br /> heirs and assigns forever.
<br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor has caused its corporate seal to be affixed
