<br /> 1. The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its city council
<br /> on September 5, 1972, enacted Ordinance No. 5234 which directed the conveyance
<br /> of the real estate described below and the manner and terms thereof.
<br /> 2. Ordinance No. 5234 was published in the Grand Island Daily Independent,
<br /> a legal newspaper published in and of general circulation in such City on
<br /> September 9, 1972, and, immediately thereafter, notice of such sale and the
<br /> terms thereof were published in the Grand Island Dai1y Independent for three
<br /> , consecutive weeks, on September 11, September 18, and September 25, 7-972, a11
<br /> as required by Section 16-202, R.R.S. 1943, � i
<br /> 3• No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the city council:'of
<br /> the City of Grand Island within thirty days of the passage and publication of
<br /> Ordinance No. 5234.
<br /> �+. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 5234 provides that if no remonstrance be
<br /> filed against such conveyance, the mayor and city clerk-finance director shall
<br /> inake, execute and deliver to Rick L. McCurry, a warranty deed for said real
<br /> estate and the execution of such deed is hereby authorized without further action
<br /> on behalf of the city council.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a. municipal corporation
<br /> in Hal1 County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration of Twenty-eight Thousand
<br /> Two Hundred Fifty Dollars (�28,250,00) received from Grantee, does hereby grant�
