<br /> FiA;RRY SHIPMAN,' being first duly sworn on oath, deposes and says� ;
<br /> that he is the President of the Board of Education of School District
<br /> � 1-R of HaT1 and Merrick County, Nebraska; that at 8:00 o'clock, P. M., .
<br /> on October 24, 1972,, .a Special Meeting was called by the Board of Edu-
<br /> cation of Scliool District 1-R of Hall and Merrick County, Nebraska,
<br /> pursuant to Notice given by the said Board of� Education in The Grand
<br /> Island Daily Independent in compliance with the law pertaining to
<br /> notices, and that the following Resolution was approved by a majority
<br /> vote of the patrons and taxpayers of the district present as follows: .
<br /> It is moved by a member of the Board of Education of School
<br /> District 1-R of Hall and Merrick County, Nebraska, that the
<br /> ' surplus property consisting of old School District 7 East,
<br /> 7 West, No. 56, No. 71, No. 15.and No. 32, be sold to the
<br /> adjoining landowner pursuant to the suggestions made at the
<br /> Annual Meeting by the patrons assembled at the Annual Meet-
<br /> ing for a sum of Five-Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550.00), that
<br /> being the fair, appraised value of the real estate involved
<br /> • in the above numbered districts, the only exception thereto
<br /> will be District No. 15 whieh we offered to the adjacent land-
<br /> owner for the sum of Eight-Hundred Dollars ($800.00), being
<br /> the fair, appraised value of it, together with the appraisal
<br /> expenses and so forth. �
<br /> That the results of the action of the patrons were fifty (50) of
<br /> the Patrons for, and twenty-six (26) against. The Board cieclared the
<br /> Resolution to be approved by the assembled patrons and taxpayers.
<br /> That pursuant to the authority granted to the Board of Education of
<br /> School District 1-R of Hall and Merrick 'County, Plebraska, the sale
<br /> was accomplished to the adjacent landowners, and purchases pursuant
<br /> to the Resolution were evidenced by the attached Quit Claim Deed to
<br /> the purchasers, adjacent landowriers, as provided in the Resolution.
<br /> That Quit Claim Deeds were execut,ed to the purchasers pursuant
<br /> to the authority contained in said Resoluti n of Oct ,�r 24, 1972.
