To Whom It May Concern: <br /> The following is an extract from the Constitution of the Wisconsin <br /> Evangelical Lutheran Synod, effective August 13, 1059, as amended: <br /> ARTICLE V - Rights and Powers <br /> Section l. For the better performance of its various functions <br /> the Synod shall have the legal right and power to <br /> (b) Purchase or otherwise acquire, own, and hold real estate, ` <br /> buildings, personal property of every kind and description in the ; <br /> interest of the Synod, and convey� se11, assign, transfer, lease, � <br /> mortgage, pledge, exchange, or otherwise dispose of any of its <br /> property, real, personal, or mixed, as may be for its best interests. <br /> ARTICLE VI - Board of Trustees � <br /> a� �- � � <br /> Section �+. <br /> Title to all property, both real and personal, and title to all <br /> monies, legacies and bequests received by the Synod, and title to <br /> a11 property acquired by the Synod in the future, shall be vested <br /> in the Boaxd of Trustees, the legal body corporate of the Synod, <br /> which said Board of Trustees shall be empowered to represent the <br /> � Synod in a11 legal matters and have sole authority to execute all <br /> legal documents. <br /> -� � 3t- � <br /> Section 7. <br /> Any two of the three officers, namely, Chairman, Vice-Chairman <br /> and Secretaxy, are hereby designated as the persons who shall <br /> sign all legal documents of the Synod. . <br /> I, Carl S.
