<br /> �UITCLAIM DEED
<br /> � WHEREAS, pursuant to proceedings duly had, including the
<br /> necessary election, there has been established in Hall County,
<br /> Nebraska, the Hall County NIuseum for the use of the inhabitants
<br /> of such County, and,
<br /> WHEREAS, Leo B. Stuhr and May D. Stuhr, his wife, did, on
<br /> the 14th day of April, 1961, duly transfer and convey to the
<br /> County of Hall, State of Nebraska, as a gift for the benefit
<br /> of the Hall County NIuseum, a tract of land containing 35 acres
<br /> more or less located in the East half of the Northeast quarter
<br /> (EZNE4) of Section Fifteen (15) , Township Eleven (11) North,
<br /> Range Nine (9) C�Cest of the 6th Principal Meridian, Hall County,
<br /> Nebraska, hereinafter more particularly described, and,
<br /> WHEREAS, Bennett S. Martin and C. E. Cronin, Executors and
<br /> Trustees under the Last Will and Testament of Leo B. Stuhr,
<br /> Deceased, in furtherance of the objects and purposes of such Last
<br /> �ill and Testament of Leo B. Stuhr, Deceased, did on the 22nd
<br /> day of April, 1963, duly transfer and convey to the County of
<br /> Hall, State of Nebraska, as a gift for the benefit of the Hall
<br /> County Museum, the following described real estate, to-wit:
<br /> The West half of the Northwest quarter (W2N[�t4)
<br /> of Section Fourteen (14) , Township Elev�n (11)
<br /> North, Range Nine (9) West of the bth Principal
<br /> Meridian, Hall County, Nebraska, less public
<br /> road and sewer ditch right of way, such tract
<br /> containing 77 acres more or less, and,
<br /> WHEREAS, Section 51-510, Revised Statutes of Nebraska, 1943,
<br /> as amended, provides that the title to property donated and devised
<br /> for the benefit of any public Museum shall vest in the Museum Board
<br /> of such Museum, and their successors in office, and the Board shall
<br /> thereby become the owner thereof, in trust, to the uses of the
<br /> Museum, and,
<br /> T�HEREAS, the Hall County, Nebraska, Museum Board, by Resolu-
<br /> tion duly adopted, determined that such real property, which real
<br /> property was not being used or needed for Museum purposes, should
<br /> be sol� and disposed of and the proceeds thereof applied toward
<br /> the construction and the completion of the Stuhr Museum of the
<br /> Prairie Pioneer, now being erected by the Hall County Museum
<br /> Board, and thereafter, and after advertising said sale for three
<br /> weeks in a legal newspaper published in Grand Island, Hall County,
<br /> Nebraska, setting out the time, place, terms, manner of sale and
<br /> the legal description of such real estate, duly sold the same
<br /> to Union Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation, such Union
<br /> Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation, being the highest bidder
<br /> for cash for such real property, and,
<br /> i�'HEREAS, at the request of Union Pacific Railroad Company,
<br /> a corporation, the County of Hall, State of Nebraska, has duly
<br /> transferred to Hall County, Nebraska, Museum Board the property
<br /> hereinbefore described and has executed and delivered to such
