1966, Tuesday, October 4, 1966, and Tuesday, October 11, 1966,
<br /> all as shown by the Affidavit of Publication duly attached
<br /> hereto, and,
<br /> � WHEREAS, no remonstrance was filed against the sale of
<br /> such property as evidenced by the certificate of the County
<br /> Clerk of Hall County, Nebraska, and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the Hall County Museum Board duly convened and met
<br /> at 10:00 A.M, in the North lobby, lower floor of the Hall County
<br /> Court House on the 18th day of October, 1966, at 10:00 A.M, for
<br /> the purpose of opening and receiving bids, and,
<br /> WHEREAS, there was received but one bid for the purchase of
<br /> such property, such bid being made on behalf of the Union Pacific
<br /> Railroad Company for the purchase of all of the aforesaid des-
<br /> cribed real estate for the total sum of One Hundred Two Thousand
<br /> Nine Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($102,900.00) , such bid being
<br /> accompanied by certified check in th� amount of Fifteen Thousand
<br /> Four Hundred Thirty-Five and no/100 Dollars ($15,435.00) represent-
<br /> ing 15Q/o of such bid, and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the President of the Board thereafter inquired as
<br /> to whether or not there were any further bids or any persons
<br /> present who desired to make a bid on the sale of such property,
<br /> and there being no response thereto, the meeting was adjourned to
<br /> a later date to be fixed for considering such bid, and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the Hall County Museum Board has this date met for
<br /> the purpose of considering such bid and considering the sale of
<br /> such property, and,
<br /> i�IHEREAS, it is the unanimous opinion of this Board that the
<br /> price so bid for the purchase of such property is a fair and
<br /> adequate price for such property and that a subsequent sale would
<br /> not realize a greater amount and that such property should be sold
<br /> to the Union Pacific Railroad Company for such sum of $102,900.00,
<br /> it being the highest bidder therefor and that the President of
<br /> the Museum Board be ordered and directed to execute a deed con-
<br /> veying such property to the Union Pacific Railroad Company upon
<br /> the payment of the balance of the purchase price.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Hall County Museum
<br /> Board accept the bid of the Union Pacific Railroad Company for the
<br /> purchase of the above described real property for the total sum
<br /> of $102,900.00 and that S. N. Wolbach, President of this Board,
<br /> be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute and deliver deed to
<br /> the Union Pacific Railroad Company conveying such property to it
<br /> upon the payment of the balance of the purchase price.
