RESOLUTION
<br /> WHEREAS, the Hall County Museum Board at a meeting held on
<br /> the 16th day of September, 1966, at which all members were present
<br /> unanimously adopted to sell and dispose, in accordance with the
<br /> procedure set forth and designated at Section 51-5i1 of the
<br /> Revised Statutes of Nebraska, 1943, Reissue of 1960, of the fol-
<br /> lowing described real estate, to-wit:
<br /> The West half of the Northwest quarter (WZNW�) of Section
<br /> Fourteen (14), Township Elev�n (11) North, Range Nine (9),
<br /> West of the 6th P.M. , Ha11 County, Nebraska, less public
<br /> road and sewer ditch right of way and contain�ig 77 acres
<br /> moze or less, and,
<br /> A tract of land in the East half of the Northeast quarter
<br /> (E2NE 4) of Section Fifteen (l�) , Township Eleven (11)
<br /> North, Range Nine (9) , West of the 6th P.M. , Hall County,
<br /> Nebraska, described as follows: Starting at a point on
<br /> the East Section line One Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Five
<br /> and three/tenths feet (1,455.3T ) South of the Northeast
<br /> corner of said Section, thence No�-th on the East Section
<br /> line a distance of One Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Five and
<br /> three/tenths (1,455.3T ) , thence West on the Section line a
<br /> distance of Twenty-Nine and two/tenths feet (29.2T ) to a
<br /> point on the Southerly R. 0. W. line of hi��way number 30,
<br /> thence Southwesterly on said right o� way line a distance
<br /> of One Thousand Four Hundred Forty-Three and five/tenths
<br /> feet (1,443.5 ' ) to a point on the West line of the East half
<br /> of the Northeast quarter (E2NE4) of such Section Fifteen
<br /> (15) , thence South on the West line Eight Hundred Eighteen
<br /> feet (8181 ) , thence East One Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-
<br /> Three and four/tenths feet (1,333.4' ) to the point of b.egin-
<br /> ning, excepting therefrom the public highway. Such tract
<br /> containing 35 acres more or less,
<br /> which property was not being used or needed for Museum purposes
<br /> and authorized the President and Secretary to advertise for
<br /> sealed bids for the sale of such property, and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the President and Secretary on the 16th day of
<br /> September, 1966, duly fixed and set the 18th day of October, 1966,
<br /> at 10 :00 A.M, at the Hall County Court House, North lobby, lower
<br /> floor, Grand Island, Nebraska, as the time and place for opening
<br /> and receiving bids on such real property, and thereafter duly
<br /> advertised such sale for three weeks in the Grand Island Daily
<br /> � Independent, a legal newspaper published in the City of Grand
<br /> Island, Ha11 County, Nebraska, such notice setting forth the time,
<br /> place, terms, manner of sale, legal description of such real es-
<br /> tate, and the right to reject any and all bids, and furtl� r pro-
<br /> viding for the filing of a remonstrance against the sale of such
<br /> . property at any time up to three (3) days prior to the date of
<br /> such sale, such notice being duly published for four consecutive
<br /> weeks, the first publication being on the 20th day of September,
<br /> 1966, and subsequent publications being on Tuesday, September 27,
