<br /> I, Anna E. Sehimmer, of Crand Island, Hat 1 County, Nebraska, being of sound mind and disposing memorp, do hereby
<br /> make, publish ard declare th is n�y La.st Wi11 and Testament in words as follows:

<br /> i hereby appoint my son, Harry Schimner, Execntor of this Will and provide that �e need give no snrety on his
<br /> bond as such.
<br /> II
<br /> I herebp direct my said Exeuctor, so soon as may con�eniently be done, to pay all debts proveable and allawable
<br /> against my estate, as we�l as the expenses of m,y last illness and burial and the cost of probating this Will and
<br /> administering my estate. I also direct my said Executor to purchase and have erected at my grave and at the grave
<br /> of m,y dear husband, headstones proper�y inscribed, he to be the judge of the costs thereof, but they to be in keeping
<br /> with the general appearance of said cemetery lot and to pay the cost of both thereof out of m y said estate.

<br /> All of my household goods, furniture, clothes and personal effects, I give, share and share alike, to my five
<br /> children.
<br /> IV
<br /> Within sixt�r days after the date of my death, I hereby direct the County Judge of Hall County, Nebraska, to
<br /> appoint two competent men exp�rienced and qualified in making appraisals of farmland, and they shall, within thirty
<br /> days of the date of their appointment, appr.aise all of the land which I a�wn consisting of far�nland, hay land and pasture
<br /> and amounting to approximately 144 acres, lying on Islands in the Platte River in Section ikio {2), in Township Ten
<br /> (10) North, Range Nine (9), in Hall County, Nebraska; said appraisers shall appraise the fair and reasonable market
<br /> value of said �and as of the date of my death and in the event that the tr+o of them cannot agree on such valuation
<br /> they between themselves shall select a third apprais�r, and the opinion and valuation of t�,ro of such three appra�sers
<br /> shall be binding upon all for the pir poses of this Will. Said appraisers shall f�l.e their report in writing with
<br /> said Court having appointed them, and I herebp de�ise all of said land to m�y said son, Harry Schimmer, in fee simple
<br /> absolute, but expressly provided that he shall within siacty daps af the date of the filing of such appraisers report
<br /> with the Court as hereinbefore contemplated, pay in to my estate the full appraised value of said farm; in t he event
<br /> that he shall fail to so pay such appraised valne within said time, then I expresslp pro vide that the above
<br /> devi.se be hereby declared null and void and said farm shall thereupon become a part of the rest, residue and remainder
<br /> of my estate, to be disposed of as hereinafter provided.

<br /> ►� I hereby direct my said F.�cecutor to corivert all other chattel propertp including bank accounts, stocks,
<br /> investments and ch oses in action into cash by selling so much thereof as may be necessary for that purpose;

<br /> ` All other real estat e of which I may die seized, inclading the farmland hereinbefore referred t o in the event
<br /> that my said son Harry shall fail to pay said appraised value therefore to n�y estate as hereinbefore required, I hereby
<br /> authorize and direct m4* said Executor to sell the same at public sale to the highest bidder for cash after giving
<br /> notice of such sale in the Grand Island Independent at least two weeks prior to the date of such sale; I herebp authorize
<br /> and empawer said Executor to make, execute, acknowledge and deliver good and sufficient deed s of conveyance to
<br /> convep title to said real estate and every part thereof to such pur�haser��.or`purchasers at such sale, and to furnish
<br /> abstracts of t itle to such purchasers showi.ng good marketable title to said real estate in said Fxecutor for tht purposes
<br /> of sueh sales, and all expenses in connection with sach sales shall be paid for out of my estate.

<br /> The net proceeds realized from� the sale of such real estate, and from the liquidation of mpr estate as herei.nbefore �
<br /> authorized and directed, and the monies received from my said son by my estate for said f�rmland if he pays in same as
<br /> hereinbefore required, I hereby bequeath and direct md* said E�cecutor to divide the same into five equal shares and
<br /> pay the same unto the follan�ing of � children, to�wit:
<br /> Harry Schim�nner, one-fifth
<br /> Frieda Scheel, one-fifth
<br /> Minnie Scheel, one-fifth
<br /> Ella Stelk, one-fifth
<br /> Marie Cosgriff� one-fifth
<br /> VIII
<br /> I hereby expressly revoke all former wills by me made.
