<br /> 6 FIRST CODICIL TO LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JOSEPH J. KLINGE
<br /> I, Joseph J. Klinge, of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be a
<br /> first codicil to the last will and testament made by me on OctQber 4, 1944, that is to sap:
<br /> First: I give and bequeath to my daughter, Ma,ry Klinge Sedlacek, the sum of $2,400.00, as trustee, in trust to
<br /> give one third of that sum or $800.00 to each of her three children namely: Elaine Marie Sedlacek, Rita Joanne
<br /> Sedlacek and Emily Ann Sedlacek, to be paid to eachchild when each ehild attains the age of twenty-one years or marries,
<br /> whichever occurs first. I suggest that as trustee she invest the respective shares in her name in United States Govern-
<br /> ment Bonds and deliver either the cash, with interest, if any that has accrued, or the bond to each of her said
<br /> children when such child by reason of marriage or attaining the age of twenty-one, bec�nes entitled thereto. Should
<br /> one or more of said children die before becoming twenty-one years of a�e or before marrying, the share hereby bequeathed
<br /> to said child or children, as the case may be, shall go to and vest in the mother, Mary Klinge Sedlacek. Mary Klinge
<br /> Sedlacek shall not be required to give anp bond as such trustee and the receipt of Marp Klinge Sedlacek as trustee
<br /> to my executrix shall be all that is required to close mb* estate. My children were equal in my affection, but I gave
<br /> my son, Joseph J. Klinge, during his lifetime improved real estate which was not deducted from the interest devised
<br /> and bequeathed to him by my will and I have ma.de the above trust to equalize the distributive of n�y estate.
<br /> Second: Under my will, the daughter of mp► deceased son, Joseph J. Klinge, who is ncyw living with me, will take
<br /> the share or interest that would have gone to him had he survived me and as modified bp this codicil I confirm the
<br /> devise and bequest to the daughter of Joseph J. Klinge, n�y son, as set forth in my will, whose name is Dorothy
<br /> Klinge Nietfeldt.
<br /> Third: I hereby modify and amend �qq aforesaid last will and testament, in accordance with the provisions of this
<br /> codicil, and as hereby and herein modified, amended and extended, I do hereby confira�, ratifp and repnblish my
<br /> said last will and testament.

<br /> I, Joseph J. Klinge, of Grand Island, Ha11 County, Nebraska, do hereby make, publish and de��.are thia to be the second
<br /> codicil to the last will and testament made by me on October 4, 1944 as modified by mg first codicil dated December
<br /> 18, 1944, that is to say:
<br /> First: I revolte Item Second of mp said wi11 and in lieu thereof provide as follaws;
<br /> I give and bequeath to my executrices, Marp Klinge Sedlacek and Dorothp Kiin�e Nietfeldt, the sum of $150.00 to
<br /> be used in procuring one hundred masses to be sai.d for the repose of my soul in the Catholic Charch of Grand Island,
<br /> Nebraska, $100.00 for th�tpurpose and the remaining $50.00 to be given to Reverend Leo Keating of Grand Island,
<br /> Nebraska, personally, for conducting services at mp* funeral providing he survives me and is in Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br /> to perform the service, otherwise that portion of the beQnest in the sum of $50.00 shall lapse and fall into my
<br /> residuary estate.
<br /> Second: my son Joseph J. Klinge died before me whom I named as executor of �,q wi11 in Item Seventh thereof
<br /> jointly with mp daughter, Mary Klinge Sedlac ek and I Mereby nominate and appoint the daj��hter of Joseph J. Klinge
<br /> to act as executri.x jointly with Mary Klinge Sedlac ek and my executrices, Dorothp Klinge N�etfeldt and A�ary Klinge
<br /> Sedlac ek shall act as executrices as provided in Item �eventh of mpr will and should either of them die before me or be
<br /> unable to act the survivor of them shall act as executrix.
<br /> Third: I herebp modify and amerd `my aforesaid last will as modified by nt� first codicil and as hereby and
<br /> herein modified, amended and extended, I hereby confirm, ratify and replublish nq* said last will and �* first codicil
<br /> thereto.
