<br /> Sub�ject to the life estate granted to my said wife in the property of which I die possessed,

<br /> paid by my Executor, hereinafter named, as soon after the death of my said wife as can be
<br /> conveniently arranged, the said bequest to be considered as an equaliZation of distribution on
<br /> account :of the devises of real estate to my ather sons, and to be paid with reasonable dispatch with

<br /> In the event that I shall die possessed of real estate other tnan that hereinbefore specifically
<br /> devised, I authorize and empower my Executor, hereinafter named, do sell sucn real estate at such ��,
<br /> price as it de`ems ad+'l�isable, the within being its fu11 and complete authority to make necessary
<br /> deeds of transfer without order from any Court whatsoever.

<br /> All of t��e rest, residue and remainder of my z�roperty, both real and personal, of whatsoever
<br /> kind or nature, and wherever situated, rer�aining at the time of the death of my said wif e, Ma.ry

<br /> To my son, Ha,rry A. Hassel, an undivided one-third �art triereof, absolutely;

<br /> To The First Nationa�: Bank of Grand Island, of Grand Island, Nebraska, an undivided one-third
<br /> part thereof, �.s trustee in trust, and to its suecessor or successors in trust, upon the uses and
<br /> trusts and for the purposes following :
<br /> To receive, take, hold, manage and control tne same, Prom the creation of said trust for a period
<br /> of ten years, or until saia trust shall have been terminated by conditions as herein set out.
<br /> And in the administration of said trust, said trustee, or its successor or seccessors in trust,
<br /> is authoriZed, empowered and directed to sell and convey real and personal property; to seasonabl�t
<br /> pay all taxes which t�ay be levied or assessed against said trust estate or any part thereo�; to
<br /> release and satisfy of record mortgages in -which I appear as mortgagee; to pay tne costs and
<br /> expenses of administering this trust; to invest and re-invest any surplus moneys belonging to said
<br /> trust estate in interest-bearing first mortgage, municipal or United States government bonds, and,
<br /> generally, to do and perform every act and thing whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done for
<br /> the proper and economical administration of said trust estate.
<br /> To disburse the net income eacn year for a period of ten years to my son, Wilhelm H. Hassel, at
<br /> such periods as shall be convenient, and at the end of the period of said trust, as herein
<br /> provided, to pay the �rincipal and any accumulated interest to my said son, Wilhelm H. Hassel.
<br /> I furtner direct t'riat in the event the said trustee, at any period during tt�e existence oP said
<br /> trust, shall deem it for t�.e best interests of t"r7e beneficiary, my said son, Wilhelm H. Hassel, that
<br /> the trust be terminated and the entire proceeds, with accumulations, be paid to the beneficiary,
<br /> then I direet that said trustee, with tne consent of the County Court of Hall County, Nebraska, shall
<br /> be privile�ed to terminate said trust and pay to the beneficiary thereof any funds on hand in said
<br /> �rust account.
