<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT, ETC._
<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF CHARLES BOSSELMAN.
<br />I, Charles Bosselman, a resident of Merrick County, Nebraska, being of sound and disposing
<br />mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament,in
<br />manner and form as follows:
<br />1.
<br />I direct that my funeral expense, the expenses of administrating my estate, and all my just
<br />debts, save and excepting those secured by mortgages upon my real estate, if any therebe, be paid
<br />by my executor hereinafter named out of my personal estate.
<br />11.
<br />I do hereby ive, devise and bequeath the West Half of the Northeast Quarter NOW of Section
<br />Seventeen (17), Township Thirteen (13) North, Range Eight (8), West of the 6th P.M. in Merrick
<br />County, Nebraska, to my wife, Johanna Bosselman, to take, have and hold the same for an as her own
<br />sole property.
<br />111.
<br />I do hereby give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Johanna Bosselman, the use and control of,
<br />and the income from, all the rest and residue of my real estate for and during the term of her
<br />natural life, charging said life estate with the taxes on said real estate, the insurance, main-
<br />tenance and repair of the buildings and improvements thereon, and the payment of all sums of money
<br />becoming due during her lifetime on any indebtedness existing against said real estate at the
<br />time of my death.

<br />Subject to the fore oing provision, I do hereby give, devise and bec� ueath the East Half of the
<br />Northwest Quarter (ENE) of Section Seventeen (17), Township Thirteen (13) North, Range Eight (8)
<br />West of the 6th P.M. in Merrick County, Nebraska, to my daughter, Lillie Bosselman, to take, have
<br />and hold the same for and as her own sole property.
<br />V.
<br />If my sons, Charles 0. Bosselman, Norman Bosselman, and Fredrick Bosselman shall be living at
<br />the time of the death of my wife, Johanna Bosselman, or at the time of my'death, should I survive
<br />her, then I do hereby give, devise and bequeath the West Half of the West Half of the Southeast
<br />Quarter MW�SEi) of Section Eight (8), and the South Half of the Southeast Quarter (SASE ) of
<br />Section Nine (9), and the South Half of the Northwest Quarter (S *NW *) of Section Sixteen (16),
<br />and a tract of land described as follows: Commencing at a point on the West line of Section
<br />Sixteen (16), which is Thirteen Hundred (1300) Feet South of the Northwest corner of said section,
<br />running thence East at right angles One Thousand Five (1005) Feet; thence North at right angles
<br />Six Hundred Forty -eight (648) Feet; thence in an Easterly direction Eleven Hundred Five (1105)
<br />Feet to a point which is Six Hundred Thirty (630) Feet South of the North line of said Section
<br />Sixteen (16), when measured at right angles to the North line of said section; thence North Six
<br />Hundred Thirty (630) Feet to the North line of said Section Sixteen (16); thence East along the
<br />North line of said section to the Northeast corner of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter -'
<br />(N�NWJ) of said section; thence South along the East line of the Northwest Quarter (NWJ) of said
<br />section to the Southeast corner of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter (NJNW of said section;
<br />thence West along the South side of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter (N2NWt) of said section
<br />to the West line of said section; thence North along the West line of said section to the place of
<br />beginning, all of said real estate being in Township Thirteen (13) North, Range Eight (8), West
<br />of the 6th P.M. in Merrick County, Nebraska, to my son, Charles 0. Bosselman; the East Half of
<br />the Northeast Quarter (EJNEJ), and the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NEJSE ) of
<br />116).
<br />Section Nine (9), and the West Half of the Northeast Quarter (W *NEJ) of Section Sixteen and
<br />a tract of land described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Section Sixteen (16),
<br />running thence South along the West line of said section Thirteen Hundred (1300) Feet; thence East
<br />at right angles One Thousand Five Feet (1005); thence North at right angles Six Hundred Forty -eight
<br />(648) Feet; thence in an Easterly direction a distance of Eleven Hundred Five (110.0 Feet to a point
<br />which is; Six Hundred Thirty (630) Feet South of the North line of said section, when measured at
<br />right angles; thence North Six Hundred Thirty (630) Feet to the North line of said Section; thence
<br />West along the North line of said section to the place of beginning, all of said real estate being
<br />located in Township Thirteen (13) North,Range Eight (8), West of the 6th P.M., in Merrick County,
<br />Nebraska, to my son, Norman Bosselman; and the East Half of the Northwest Quarter (EJNWJ), and
<br />the West Half of the Northeast Quarter (W *NEJ), and the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
<br />(NWJSEJ), and a strip of land consisting of the East Three (3) Rods of the South Eighty -three (83)
<br />Rods of the Southwest Quarter (SA), all located in Section Nine, (9), Township Thirteen (13) North,
<br />Range Eight (8), West of the 6th P.M. in Merrick County, Nebraska, to my son Fredrick Bosselman,
<br />to take, have and hold the same for an as their own sole property, but with each share charged with
<br />the payment of one -third (113) of the sum of Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00) as hereinafter
<br />provided for in Paragraph VII of this I&st will and testament, and with each share charged with the
<br />payment of one -third (1/3) of the total indebtedness against all of said real estate, and with all
<br />of the real estate in this paragraph described subject to the life estate of my wife, Johanna
<br />Bosselman, as provided in Paragraph III hereof.
<br />VI.
<br />In the event that any one or more of my said sons, Charles 0. Bosselman, Norman Bosselman, or
<br />Fredrick Bosselman should die before my wife, Johanna Bosselman, then any provisions made for
<br />such son or sons in Paragraph V hereof shall be inoperative and ineffective, and in that event
<br />I do hereby give, devise and bequeath the real estate therein devised to such son or sons to my
<br />wife, Johanna Bosselman, to take have and hold the same for and hs her own sole property, but
<br />charged with the same payments and debts as hereinabove provided if such son had succeeded his
<br />mother in death.
<br />VII.
<br />The real estate hereinabove described in Paragraph V shall be charged with the payment of
<br />the sum of Eleven Thousand Dollars ($110000.00) to my executor within two years after the death
<br />of my wife, Johanna Bosselman, or within two years after m death, should I survive her. Upon
<br />receipt of said sum of Eleven Thousand Dollars 011,000.00, I do hereby direct my executor to
<br />pay to my daughter, Florence Bader, the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00); to pay to my
<br />son, Arthur Bosselman, the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00); to pay to my daughter, Frances
<br />Meshelko, the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00); to pay to my daughter, Charlotte Eaton,
<br />the sum of Six Thousand Dollars ( 6000.00); and to pay to my daughter, Lillie Bosselman, the sum
<br />of Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00.
<br />VIII.
<br />I do hereby give and bequeath to Charles 0. Bosselman my blacksmith tools and equipment, desk,
<br />safe, office chair, bird bath, lawn chairs and swing, and Ridpath's History of the World, to take,
<br />have and hold the same for and as his own sole property.
