<br />WILL AND DECREE
<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
<br />of
<br />CLAUDE W. GIBSON
<br />In the Name of God, Amen.
<br />I, CLAUDE W. GIBSON, of GIBBON, NEBRASKA, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, considering
<br />the certainty of death and the undertainty of the time thereof, and being desirous to settle my
<br />worldy affairs, and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please the
<br />Almight to call me hence, do therefore make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby
<br />revoking and annulling all Wills by me heretofore made, in manner and form following, that is to
<br />say:
<br />FIRST, and principally, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God, and my body to the
<br />earth, to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named; and my Will is,
<br />that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon
<br />after my decease as shall be convenient;
<br />SECOND, I give, devise and bequeath to my brother Glen T. Gibson of Gibbon, Nebr. All,, my
<br />personal property that I am possessed of at the time of my death go to him and his heirs and as-
<br />signs forever of what nature and kind soever and wheresoever, the same shall be at the time of my
<br />death.
<br />THIRD, I further devise and bequeath and give the following described real estate to my
<br />brother rlen T. Gibson being my intention to convey a Fee Simple Title.
<br />.All my interest in Lots 12, 13, and 14 in Block 2 also Lots 2, 3, and 4 in Block 9, all of the
<br />original village of Gibbon, Buffalo County, Nebraska also Lot 7 in the M. D. Marsh Subdivision of
<br />the Village of Gibbon, Buffalo County, Nebraska also Southeast Quarter of Southwest quarter (SEj
<br />SW4) and of Southwest Quarter of Southeast Quarter (SWj SEJ) of section 32 in township 9 Range 12,
<br />west of the 6th P. M., in,Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />FOURTH, The balance of my real estate that I own at the time of my death I give to my brother
<br />Glen =ibson during his natural life, with full power and rights to disposal of all the rents
<br />profits for his own benefits therefrom.
<br />FIFTH, I further give my brother Glen T. Gibson full power and Authority to sell and convey
<br />any part or portion of my real estate left after the above devise, at any time when it becomes
<br />necessary for his support, said suppport to be such as is suitable for persons his age and social
<br />m
<br />position and of like character t4 fgEich he was accustom-his late,years of his life. The
<br />remainder, if any shall pass as hereinafter provided.
<br />SIXTH, After the death of my brother Glen T. Gibson, I give devise and bequeath the remainder
<br />of my real estate to my beloved neices, in equal portions, share and share alike, namely
<br />Elizabeth B. Palmquist
<br />Janet Gibson
<br />Mary Louise Hopkins
<br />Karlene Couglin
<br />In the event of the death of either of my beloved neices as above named, I give and devise said
<br />estate to her childreq or heirs in equal portions share and share alike of any deceased neice,
<br />taking the share which she would have taken, if living.
<br />THIRD, All the rest and residue of my estate, both real, personal and mixed, I give, deeiee:.
<br />and 'bequeath to my brother, Glen T. Gibson and to them and their heirs and assigns forever, share
<br />and share alike, as tenants in common.
<br />AND LASTLY, I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Glen T. Gibson Executor of this my
<br />last Will and Testament, and I desire that my Executor hereinbefore named shall not be required
<br />to give bond for the faithful performance of . the duties of that office.
<br />IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have set my hand and seal to this, my last Will and Testament, at
<br />Gibbon, Nebraska, this 23rd day of June in.the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and
<br />thirty -eight

<br />In the matter of the estate Claude W. Gibson deceased. I hereby certify that on the 11th day
<br />of April, 1946 the foregoing instrument of writing to which this certificate is attached was duly
<br />probated and allowed as the Last Will and Testament of Claude W. Gibson deceased and the same was
<br />duly filed and entered upon the probate records of said county.
