<br />The foregoing instrument was subscribed, published and declared by Henry Duennermann as a
<br />codicil to his last will and testament in our presence and hearing and in the presence and hearing
<br />of each of us, and we at the same time, and at his request and in his presence and hearing, and
<br />in the presence and hearing of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names and residences as

<br />HENRY DUENNfiRMAN,
<br />I, Henry Duennerman of Hall County, Nebraska, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be a
<br />second codicil to t1-,.e last will and testament heretofore made, signed, sealed, published, declared
<br />and executed by me, and bearing date of November 1, 1933, that is to say;
<br />I.
<br />I have this day cancelled 85000 of the note secured by real estate mortgage executed by my son,
<br />Wilhelm F. Duennerman, and Jessie Duennerman, his wife, described in Paragraph IV of my will, and
<br />renewed the remaining $5000 until January 1, 1946, with 3% semi - annual interest, and I hereby
<br />amend and modify Paragraph IV of my aforesaid last will and testament to that the same shall now
<br />read as follows;
<br />"I am the ovmer of a $5000 note executed by my son, Wilhelm F. Duennerman, and Jessie Duennerman
<br />his wife, and secured by mortgage on the North half of the Northeast quarter of Section 18, in
<br />Township 11, North of Range 8, Test of the 6th P. T2. in Merrick County, Nebraska, and I hereby
<br />give, devise and bequeath to my said son, Wilhelm F. Ruennerman, said note and mortgage, the same
<br />to be his, absolute, subject, however, to a charge of $1000, which amount my said son, Wilhelm F.
<br />Duennerman shall pay to my executor within six months after my death, and which money shall be
<br />used in the payment of the legacies herein provided for my daughtera.,and grand - children, and upon
<br />payment of said amount, I direct and authorize my executor to cancel said note and release said
<br />mortgage of record, and surrender the same to my said son, Wilhelm F. Duennerman."
<br />II.
<br />I have this day cancelled $3000. of the note secured by real estate mortgage executed by my son,
<br />Henry Duennerman Jr. and h amie Duennerman, his wife, described in Paragraph V. of my will and
<br />renewed the remaining $3000 until January 1, 1946, with 3% semi - annual interest, and I hereby
<br />amend and modify Paragraph V of my aforesaid last will and testament so that the same shall now
<br />read as follows:
<br />"I am the owner of a $3000. note executed by my son, Henry Duennerman Jr. and Mamie Duennerman,
<br />his wife, and secured by mortgage on the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter, and the,,--
<br />Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 8, and the North half of the Northwest
<br />qquarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 17, all in Township 11, North of Range 8, West of the
<br />6th P. 11. , in Llerrick County, Nebraska, and ,I hereby give, devise and bequeath to my said son,
<br />Henry Duennerman Jr., said note and mortgage, the same to be his, absolute, subject, however, to
<br />a charge of $500, which amount my said son, Henry Duennerman Jr. shall pay to my executor within
<br />six months after my death, and which money shall be used in the payment of the legacies herein
<br />rovided for my daughters and grand- children, and upon payment of said amount, I direct and
<br />authorize my executor to cancel said note and release said mortgage of record, and surrender the
<br />same to my son, Henry•Duennerman Jr."
<br />III.
<br />I hereby modify and amend by aforesaid last will and testament in accordance with the provisions
<br />of this codicil, and as hereby and Ilerein modified, amended.and extended, I do hereby confirm,
<br />ratify, redeclare and republish my aforesaid last will and testament, and the codicil thereto
<br />bearing date of March 10, 1938-
<br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto subscribed my name this 9th day of January, A. D., 1941, at
<br />Grand I c land, Nebraska.
