<br />each of us believing said Christ Peterson to be of sound mind and memory and capable of recogniz-
<br />ing the natural objects of his 'bounty and affection, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
<br />to said Fourth codicil.

<br />FIFTH CODICIL TO LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF
<br />CHRIST PETERSON
<br />I. Christ Peterson, a resident of Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, do hereby make, publish
<br />and declare this as a fifth codicil to my last will and testament, dated August 23, 1939 as modified
<br />by the first codicil, executed February 249 1939, the second codicil executed June 8, 1942," the
<br />third codicil executed March 11, 1943, the fourth codicil, executed December 1�, 1943, and I hereby
<br />provide as follows:
<br />I hereby modify Paragraph 1 of the codicil dated March 11, 1943, so that Paragraph (d) thereof
<br />sba ll read as follows:
<br />(d) After both my said wife and daughter are deceased,
<br />one -third of the net income shall be paid to my granddaughter,Janet Ann;:Wischmeier; one -sixth
<br />of the net income shall be paid to my grandson", A.Chester Wischmeier; one -sixth of the net
<br />income shall be paid to the American Red Goss (national society); and the other one- third
<br />of said net income shall be paid, share and share alike, to the two missionary societites
<br />mentioned in Paragraph (c) of Article II of said original will.
<br />Except as herein modified, I hereby ratify and confirm the original will and all four codicils
<br />thereto.
<br />In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand at Lincoln, Nebraska, this 7th day of June, 1944.

<br />The foregoing instrument was subscribed, published and declared by Christ Peterson, as and for
<br />a fifth codicil to his last will and testament, dated August 23, 1939, in our presence and in the
<br />presence of each of us, and we, at his request and in his prence., and in the presence of each other,
<br />hereunto subscribe our names as attesting witnesses this ay of June, 1944.

<br />and foregoing last will and testament, the codicil of February 24, 1939, the codicil of March 11,
<br />1943, the codicil of December 15, 1943, and the codicil of June , 1 44 (the second codicil dated
<br />June 9, 1942 not having been proved) were found to be the last will and testament and four codicils
<br />thereto of said deceased, and were duly proved, according to law, as the last will and testament
<br />and four codicils thereto of the real and personal estate of said deceased, and the same were ad-
<br />mitted to probate and ordered recorded as such.
