<br />Now,on this 14th day of February,1945,this matter came on for hearing before the Court upon the
<br />petition of John Holmes,and the Court finds that due and legal notice of the time,place and pur-
<br />pose of this hearing has been given to all persons interested in said estate,both creditors and
<br />heirs at law,in the manner provided by law.
<br />The Court finds that Edna G.Holmes departed this life in Hall County, Nebraska, on the 11th day of
<br />May,1928,she being at that time a resident of Hall County,Nebraska;that at the time of her death
<br />she was seised and possessed of the-following described property:
<br />The East One Hundred (100) feet of Lot Nine (9) in the County Subdivision of part of section Nine-
<br />teen (19) in Township Ten (10) North,Range Eleven (11) West of the 6th P.M.,comprising a rectang-
<br />ular strip of land one hundred (100) feet wide from east to west by six hundred sixty (660) feet
<br />long from north to south,Wood River,Hall County,Nebraska.
<br />A rectangular strip of land two rods wide,east and west,and forty rods long,north and south,off
<br />the west side of the West one -half of Lot Ten (10) of the County Subdivision of part of section
<br />nineteen (19) in Township Ten (10),North of Range Eleven (11),West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,
<br />located in the Village of Wood River,Hall County,Nebraska;
<br />that the petitioner is the surviving husband of the said deceased,and by reason thereof,the owner
<br />of an interest-in a portion of the above described property.
<br />THE COURT FURTHER FINDS that no sufficient administration has been had upon the estate of said
<br />deceased .in the State of Nebraska;that no application or proceedings for administration as pro-
<br />vided by law have been commenced or are now pending in this state.
<br />THE COURT FURTHER FINDS that the said Edna G.Holmes left surviving as her sole and only heirs at
<br />law and as the only persons entitled to participate in said estate,the petitioner and surviving
<br />husband,John Holmes;a daughter,Christine Lanman;and Paul W.Holmes,a son.
<br />THE COURT FURTHER FINDS that the funeral expenses of said deceased have been paid and that there
<br />are now existing no debts against the estate of the said deceased,that more than two years have
<br />elapsed since-the death of the deeeased,and no claims are now provable against said estate.That
<br />there is no personal property to be administered,and that neither said estate or the heirs at law
<br />are subject to estate or Inheritance Tax,and -that there is no necessity for full administration.
<br />IT IS THEREFORE,CONSIDERED,ADJUDGED AND DECREED BY THE COURT that the said Edna ]~.Holmes died as
<br />above set forth.That she left her surviving as her sole and only heirs at law and the only persons
<br />entitled to participate in her estate,the persons whose names and kinship are as above found.
<br />That the lands and premises above described passed and descended to the children and husband of
<br />the deceased in accordance with the intestate laws of the State of Nebraska in force at the time
<br />of the death of said Edna G.Holmes;namely an undivided one -third interest to each,John Holmes,
<br />surviving husband,Christine Lanman,surviving daughter and Paul W.Holmes,surviving son; that no
<br />necessity exlsts for administration and that administration be dispensed with.That neither the
<br />estate or heirs at law are subject to estate or'inheritance taxes,that no claims are now provable
<br />and that any and all claims against said estate be and are forever barred.

<br />March 30; 1945. This matter coming on for hearing upon the application of Mildred F.Thompson
<br />sole heir of Ida L.Thompson, Deceased, and it appearing to the Court that the inventory hereinbe-
<br />fore filed was in error in that it failed to set out that Ida L.Thompson was the owner in fee
<br />simple title of the following described property:
<br />Lot Six (6) in Block Seventy -eight (78) in Wheeler & Bennett's Third Addition to the City
<br />of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />Lots One (1) and Two (2) in Block Five (5) in John W.Lambert's Addition to the City of Grand
<br />Island, Hall County, Nebraska.
