MARKS. <br />I. Bert A. Marks, of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, being of sound mind and disposing <br />memory, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament. <br />FIRST: I direct that all my just debts, funeral expenses and expenses of my last illness, <br />if any, be first paid by my executor, hereinafter named. <br />SECOND: I give, devise and bequeath to my sister, Luretta McDowell Brock, the sum of Five <br />Dollars 5.00) and direct that she shall have no other share of my property. <br />THIRD: I give, devise and bequeath to the children of my deceased brother, Elmer Marks, the <br />sum of Five Dollars ($5.00), to be divided among them share and share alike, and direct that they <br />shall have no other share in my property. <br />FOURTH: All of the rest, residue and remainder of my property, I give, devise and bequeath <br />to my sister, Mary A. Edwards, and to my brothers, John V.Marks and Edward S. Marks, in equal shares <br />to each. In the event that either of the above named sister or brothers should precede me in <br />death, I direct that the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00) be paid to the child or children of the <br />deceased sister or brother, and that said children shall receive no other share of my property, <br />it being my intention to leave my property to my brothers and sister, or such of them as may be <br />living at the time of my death. But in the event of the death of one or more of them, their <br />children shall receive the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00), and the balance of my estate shall be <br />divided between my surviving sister or sister and brothers. <br />FIFTH: I hereby nominate and appoint my brother Edward S.
