CERTIFICATE OF PROBATE OF WILL. <br />HALL COUNTY ) <br />At a Session of the County Court held in the County Court Room in Grand Island, in said <br />County, on the 30th day of June, A.D. , 1943- <br />Present Paul N.Kirk County Judge <br />In the Matter of the Estate of <br />Selma Kappler, Deceased. <br />I, Paul N.Kirk, Judge of the County Court, in and for said County, do hereby certify that <br />on the 5th day of June, 1943, the instrument purporting to be the last will and testament of <br />Selma Kappler, deceased, was filed for probate in this Court. That on the 30th day of June, 1943, <br />said instrument to which this certificate is attached was duly proved, probated and allowed as the <br />last will and testament of the real and T-ersonal estate of said Selma Lappler deceased, and the <br />same was ordered to be recorded in the records of the Court aforesaid. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the County Court, <br />this 30th day of June, 1943- <br />Paul N.Kirk <br />HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA F I L E D JUN 30 1943L) County Judge <br />PAUL N.KIRK COUNTY JUDGE <br />IN THE COUNTY COURT OF HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA <br />IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF D E C R E E <br />SELMA KAPPLER, DECEASED. - - - - - - <br />Now on this 13th day of June, 1944, this cause came on for hearing upon the final report filed <br />herein by Earnest Herman Kappler, Executor of the estate of Selma Kappler, deceased, and upon his <br />petition for the approval and allowance of said report, settlement of said estate, determination <br />of the heirs and. his discharge herein, said hearing having been continued from December 15th,1943, <br />and the Court having examined the records and files and being fully advised in the premises, finds: <br />That Earnest Herman Kappler, widower of the said Selma Kappler, deceased, filed his petition <br />in this Court on the 2nd day of June, 1943, alleging,among other things, that Selma Kappler departed <br />this life testate on the 26th day of May, 1943, and was at that time a resident and inhabitant of <br />said County and State and was the owner of an estate to be administered in said county; that upon <br />reading and filing said petition, an order was entered fixing the time and place for hearing the <br />evidence in support of said petition, giving notice thereof to all interested parties by publish- <br />ing said notice for three successive weeks in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper <br />published and circulated in said County. <br />That said hearing was held., as heretofore ordered by the Court, as by law required, and Letters <br />Testamentary were granted to Earnest Herman Kappler upon the filing of his bond in this Court, <br />as required by law. <br />That due and legal notice has been given to all persons of the time and place fixed by the <br />Court for filing claims against said estate by publication for three successive weeks in the <br />Grand Island Daily Independent, as provided by law, and that all persons having claims against <br />said estate, not filed within the time fixed by the Court, if any such there be, should be forever <br />barred, excluded and enjoined from setting up or asserting any such claims against said estate. <br />That said deceased departed this life leaving surviving her as her heirs at law and only <br />heirs at law, legatees, devisees and persons entitled to share in her estate the following,to -wit: <br />Earnest Herman Kappler,husband; Martin H.Kappler,son; Walter L.Kappler,son; Louis H.Kappler, son. <br />That said deceased died the owner of an estate situated in Hall and Buffalo counties,Nebraska, <br />consisting of real property and personal property, said real estate being described as follows: <br />Lot Nine,(9), Block One, (1), Lakeview Addition to the City of Grand Island,Hall County, <br />Nebraska, otherwise known as 216 East Ashton Avenue, Grand Island,Nebraska. <br />The South half (S 112) of the Southeadt qua.rter,(SE 1/4) of Section Sixteen,(16), <br />Township Eleven,(11),North,Range Thirteen, (13),West of the 6th P.M., Buffalo County, <br />Nebraska. <br />The South one - third (S 113) of part of the North half, (N 112) of the Northeast quarter, <br />IV <br />I her -by bequeath any and <br />all personalty belonging to me at my decease to my beloved husband, <br />Ernest Herman Kappler. <br />V. <br />As executor of this, my last <br />Will and Testament,. I hereby name my husband, Ernest Herman Kappler, <br />to serve without bond.
