<br />At a session of the County Court held in and for said County of Hall
<br />and State of Nebraska, this 12th day of April, 1944.
<br />Present: Charles Bossert, County Judge.
<br />BE IT REMEMBER-ED1: That on the 20th day of March, 1944, Susie J.Phifer, Administratrix of the
<br />Estate of Carrie Phifer, deceased, filed in this Court her final account as Administratrix and a
<br />petition praying that said account be allowed, for a decree of heirship, an order of distribution,
<br />a final settlement thereon and an order of discharge.
<br />For these purposes, the 12th day of April, 1944, at 10 o'clock A.M. at the County Court Room
<br />in said. County was assigned as the time and place for hearing said petition, examining and allow-
<br />ing said account, and it was ordered that the pendency of said petition be given to all persons
<br />interested in said estate by publishing such notice in the Grand Island Independent, a legal news-
<br />paper printed in said County, for three weeks prior to said day of hearing; and it appears by
<br />proof on file that said notice was given as ordered by Court and that no objections to said final
<br />account have been made or filed.
<br />Upon examin ation of the record and the evidence in this matter and being duly advised in the
<br />premises, the Court finds as follows:
<br />FIRST.
<br />That Carrie Phifer departed this life on the 9th day of October, 1943, at her home in Grand
<br />Island, Hall County, Nebraska, intestate, and at the time of her death she was a resident of
<br />Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />SECOND.
<br />That on the 16th day of October, 1943, Susie J.Phifer, sister of said Carrie Phifer, deceased,
<br />filed in this Court a petition praying for the appointment of Susie J.Phifer as Administratrix
<br />of the Estate of said deceased, and. on the 16th day of October, 1943, an order of this Court was
<br />made - therein, assigning the 10th day of November, 1943, at 10 o'clock A.M. at the County Court,
<br />Room in said County, as the time and place for hearing said petition and ordering that notice
<br />of pendency of said petition and hearing thereon be given to all persons interested in said
<br />matter by publishing said notice in the Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper printed in said
<br />County, for three successive weeks prior to said day of hearing; and it appears by proof on file
<br />that notice of said order was given as ordered by this Court.
<br />THIRD.
<br />The Court further finds that S,zsie J.Phifer named in said petition, was upon her giving bond in
<br />the sum of $100.00, as ordered by this Court, appointed Administratrix as prayed; the Court further
<br />finds that the deceased at the time of her death, was an unmarried maiden lady and both her parents
<br />had preceeded her in death, and that she left the following heirs -at -law and only heirs -at -law, to-
<br />wit: Susie J.Phifer, her sister.
<br />FOURTH.
<br />That on the 10th day of November, 1943, an order was made herein allowing creditors three months
<br />from and after the 8th day of December, 1943, in which to file their claims against said estate
<br />and said Administratrix one year in which to settle said estate, and further ordering that a notice
<br />to creditors be published in the Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper published and circu-
<br />lating in Hall County, Nebraska., for three successive weeks prior to the 8th day of December, 1943,
<br />and that a hearing on claims filed against said estate would be held in the office of the County
<br />Judge of Hall County-, Nebraska, on the 10th day of March, 1944, at 9 o' cl6ck A.M.; and it appears
<br />by proof on file that notice of said order was published as ordered by this Court.
<br />FIFTH.
<br />The Court further finds that on the 12th day of November, 1943, said Susie J.Phifer, as Adminis-
<br />tratrix, filed in Court her inventory of the property of said estate, and that according to said
<br />Inventory, the deceased died seized and possessed of the following described property, to -wit:
<br />Lot Eight (8) in Block ThirteEn (13) in Boggs and Hill's Addition to Grand Island,Nebraska,
<br />in Hall County, Nebraska, the title of record appearing in the name of Carrie E.Phifer who is
<br />one and the same person as the above named decedent.
<br />An undivided one -half interest in the East Half of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter
<br />(E2EiNE4) of Section Four (4) in Township Twelve (12) North,Range Eight (8),west of the
<br />6th P.M. in Merrick County, Nebraska.
<br />SIXTH.
<br />The Court further finds that according to the laws of descent and distribution, said property
<br />descended unto Susie J.Phifer in fee simple absolute.
<br />SEVENTH.
<br />The Court further finds that on the 10th day of March, 1944, an order of this Court was made
<br />barring all claims not filed against said estate; the Court further finds that all debts and
<br />claims against said estate, including the costs of administration in said estate, have been paid
<br />and distribution and settlement,made with said Susie J.Phifer, the sole heir -at -law of said de-
<br />cedent and she has receipted therefor in writing, which is set forth in said final report herein -
<br />before filed.
<br />EIGHTH.
<br />The Court further finds that after deducting from the assets of said estate, all debts, claims,
<br />costs of administration and all other proper expenditures and the statutory exemption allowed the
<br />heirs -at -law in said estate, that there is due and payable to the County Treasurer of Hall County,
<br />Nebraska., and to the County Treasurer of Merrick County, Nebraska, no inheritance tax whatsoever,
<br />the total value of said estate being less than $1,000.00.
<br />NINTH.
<br />The Court further finds that said Carrie Phifer, deceased, is one and the same person as the
<br />Carrie E.Phifer named as grantee in the warranty deed recorded in Book 51 at page 76 of the deed
<br />records of Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED BY THE COURT that the final report of Susie J.
<br />Phifer, Administratrix herein, be and the same hereby is approved and allowed as such; further
<br />that Susie J.Phifer is the sole and only heir -at -law of said Carrie Phifer,deceased, and that
