FINAL DECREE IN THE COUNTY COURT OF HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA 451 IN THE MATTER OF ) THE ESTATE OF ) FINAL DECREE CARRIE PHIFER, deceased ) STATE OF NEBRASKA ) COUNTY OF HALL ss. At a session of the County Court held in and for said County of Hall and State of Nebraska, this 12th day of April, 1944. Present: Charles Bossert, County Judge. BE IT REMEMBER-ED1: That on the 20th day of March, 1944, Susie J.Phifer, Administratrix of the Estate of Carrie Phifer, deceased, filed in this Court her final account as Administratrix and a petition praying that said account be allowed, for a decree of heirship, an order of distribution, a final settlement thereon and an order of discharge. For these purposes, the 12th day of April, 1944, at 10 o'clock A.M. at the County Court Room in said. County was assigned as the time and place for hearing said petition, examining and allow- ing said account, and it was ordered that the pendency of said petition be given to all persons interested in said estate by publishing such notice in the Grand Island Independent, a legal news- paper printed in said County, for three weeks prior to said day of hearing; and it appears by proof on file that said notice was given as ordered by Court and that no objections to said final account have been made or filed. Upon examin ation of the record and the evidence in this matter and being duly advised in the premises, the Court finds as follows: FIRST. That Carrie Phifer departed this life on the 9th day of October, 1943, at her home in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, intestate, and at the time of her death she was a resident of Hall County, Nebraska. SECOND. That on the 16th day of October, 1943, Susie J.Phifer, sister of said Carrie Phifer, deceased, filed in this Court a petition praying for the appointment of Susie J.Phifer as Administratrix of the Estate of said deceased, and. on the 16th day of October, 1943, an order of this Court was made - therein, assigning the 10th day of November, 1943, at 10 o'clock A.M. at the County Court, Room in said County, as the time and place for hearing said petition and ordering that notice of pendency of said petition and hearing thereon be given to all persons interested in said matter by publishing said notice in the Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper printed in said County, for three successive weeks prior to said day of hearing; and it appears by proof on file that notice of said order was given as ordered by this Court. THIRD. The Court further finds that S,zsie J.Phifer named in said petition, was upon her giving bond in the sum of $100.00, as ordered by this Court, appointed Administratrix as prayed; the Court further finds that the deceased at the time of her death, was an unmarried maiden lady and both her parents had preceeded her in death, and that she left the following heirs -at -law and only heirs -at -law, to- wit: Susie J.Phifer, her sister. FOURTH. That on the 10th day of November, 1943, an order was made herein allowing creditors three months from and after the 8th day of December, 1943, in which to file their claims against said estate and said Administratrix one year in which to settle said estate, and further ordering that a notice to creditors be published in the Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper published and circu- lating in Hall County, Nebraska., for three successive weeks prior to the 8th day of December, 1943, and that a hearing on claims filed against said estate would be held in the office of the County Judge of Hall County-, Nebraska, on the 10th day of March, 1944, at 9 o' cl6ck A.M.; and it appears by proof on file that notice of said order was published as ordered by this Court. FIFTH. The Court further finds that on the 12th day of November, 1943, said Susie J.Phifer, as Adminis- tratrix, filed in Court her inventory of the property of said estate, and that according to said Inventory, the deceased died seized and possessed of the following described property, to -wit: Lot Eight (8) in Block ThirteEn (13) in Boggs and Hill's Addition to Grand Island,Nebraska, in Hall County, Nebraska, the title of record appearing in the name of Carrie E.Phifer who is one and the same person as the above named decedent. An undivided one -half interest in the East Half of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter (E2EiNE4) of Section Four (4) in Township Twelve (12) North,Range Eight (8),west of the 6th P.M. in Merrick County, Nebraska. SIXTH. The Court further finds that according to the laws of descent and distribution, said property descended unto Susie J.Phifer in fee simple absolute. SEVENTH. The Court further finds that on the 10th day of March, 1944, an order of this Court was made barring all claims not filed against said estate; the Court further finds that all debts and claims against said estate, including the costs of administration in said estate, have been paid and distribution and settlement,made with said Susie J.Phifer, the sole heir -at -law of said de- cedent and she has receipted therefor in writing, which is set forth in said final report herein - before filed. EIGHTH. The Court further finds that after deducting from the assets of said estate, all debts, claims, costs of administration and all other proper expenditures and the statutory exemption allowed the heirs -at -law in said estate, that there is due and payable to the County Treasurer of Hall County, Nebraska., and to the County Treasurer of Merrick County, Nebraska, no inheritance tax whatsoever, the total value of said estate being less than $1,000.00. NINTH. The Court further finds that said Carrie Phifer, deceased, is one and the same person as the Carrie E.Phifer named as grantee in the warranty deed recorded in Book 51 at page 76 of the deed records of Hall County, Nebraska. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED BY THE COURT that the final report of Susie J. Phifer, Administratrix herein, be and the same hereby is approved and allowed as such; further that Susie J.Phifer is the sole and only heir -at -law of said Carrie Phifer,deceased, and that
