<br />I, Asa Morrison Birchard of Ord, in the County of Valley, State of Nebraska, being of sound mind
<br />and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make,
<br />ordain, publish and declare this to be my last WILL AND TESTAMENT.
<br />FIRST, I order and. direct that my Executor hereinafter named, pay all my just debts and funeral
<br />expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.
<br />SECOND, After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts, I give, devise and bequeath all
<br />my property both real and personal,to my beloved wife Luvenia Jane Birchard, also known as Luvenia
<br />J,Birbhard of Ord, Nebraska, in fee simple, except the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) to each of my
<br />beloved children Albert Harrison Birchard age thirty -five of Burwell, Nebraska, and Mary Jane
<br />Debolt, age thirty- seven, of Ord, Nebraska.
<br />THIRD, In the event my beloved., ►ife shall die prior to my decease, I give, devise and bequeath
<br />all my property, both real and personal, to my beloved children, Albert Harrison Birchard and Mary
<br />Jane Debolt, share and share alike, In the event of the death of either of my children before my
<br />death, his or her share shall go to his or her children, share and share alike.
<br />FOURTHy I hereby empower my executor hereinafter named to sell and convey any property or my
<br />estate without order of the court.
<br />LASTLY, I make, constitute and appoint Luvenia Jane Birchard to be Executrix of this my last
<br />Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. I waive the necessity of her
<br />giving bond.
<br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the 25th day of
<br />March, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred tiventy -five.

<br />This instrument was on the day of the date thereof, signed, published and declared by the said
<br />Asa Morrison Birchard to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request
<br />have subscribed our names theretc as witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other.

<br />VALLEY COUNTY )ss' CERTIFICATE OF PROBATE.
<br />At a session of the County Court held at the County Court Room in Ord in said County, on the
<br />13th day of October, A.D. 1927, present J.H.Hollingshead County Judge. In the matter of the estate
<br />of Asa Morrison Birchard deceased, I, J.H.Hollingshead County Judge in and for said county, do
<br />hereby certify that on the 21st day of September, A.D. 1927, the instrument purporting to be the
<br />last will and t- stament of Asa Morrison Birchard deceased, was filed for probate in this Court.
<br />That on the 13th day of October, A.D. 1927, said instrument to which this is attached was duly
<br />proved, probated ind allowed, as the last will and testament of the said Asa Morrison Birchard,
<br />deceased, and the same was ordered to be recorded in the records of the Court aforesaid.
<br />In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and the seal of the said County Court this 13th
<br />da.v of October A.D. 1927.

<br />the foregoing copy of Last Will and also Certificate of Probate in the matter of the Estate of Asa
<br />Morrison Birchard, Deceased, with the original record thereof, now remaining in said court; that
<br />the same is a correct transcript thereof, and of the whole of said original record; that said court
<br />has no clerk authorized to sign certificates in his own name, and that I have the legal custody
<br />and control of said original record; that said court is a court of record, has a seal, and that
<br />said. seal is hereto affixed; and that the foregoing attestation is in due form, according to the
<br />laws of the State of Nebraska.

<br />ordain, publish and declare this to be my last WILL AND TESTAMENT.
<br />FIRST, I order and direct that my Executor hereinafter named, pay all my just debts and funeral
<br />expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.
<br />SECOND, After the na.yment of such funeral expenses and debts, I give, devise and bequeath
<br />to my beloved grandson Sidney Conrad Werner, my rings, stick pins, watch, watch chains and all
<br />other articles of jewelry which I own, also my safe.
<br />Third - -I give devise and bequeath to my beloved daughters Dora Schwieger and Nancy Lindemann
<br />all of my household furniture and fixtures, including beds, bedding, tables, chairs, stoves and
