<br />IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN.
<br />I, Martin Harders of Hall County, Nebraska_, being of sound mind and memory, and considering
<br />the uncertainties of this mortal life, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and
<br />testament in words and figures following, to -wit:
<br />1.
<br />Unto my beloved wife, Mn.rgaretha Harders, I give, devise and bequeath all of my property, both
<br />real and personal, to have and to hold for and during her natural life, with the provision that
<br />she may use of the corpus of the personal property, so much as may be necessary to care for her
<br />in such manner as she may desire, should the income from the real estate and personal property
<br />be insufficient fo^ that purpose.
<br />2.
<br />To my sons John Harders, Julius Harders and Emil Harders, I give and bequeath the sum of Five
<br />Dollars ($5.00) to each of them the same to be paid out of my personal property. During my life
<br />time I have amply provided for these children and for that reason they are given no more in this
<br />will excepting as hereinafter provided.
<br />To my son-in-law, Paul Jessen, I give and bequeath the sum of one dollar ($1.00), the same to
<br />be paid out of my personal property. . 4.
<br />During my life time, I have given my daughter Edith Eich, the sum of Five Thousand Dollars
<br />($5,000.00) and for that reason she is to receive no more excepting as hereinafter provided.

<br />During my lifetime, I have given my daughter Ella Thomsen the sum of Five Thousand Dollars
<br />($51000.00) $1300.00 of which is represented by the promissory note of her husband Thomas Thomsen;
<br />I therefore hereby bequeath unto her the said promissory note of $1300.00, and she is to receive
<br />no more of my estate, excepting as hereinafter provided.
<br />6.
<br />During my lifetime, I have given my daughter Frieda Hargens the sum of Five Thousand Dollars
<br />($5;000.00) and for that reason she is to receive no more excepting as hereinafter provided.

<br />To my son Otto Harders, I give and devise the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of Section Eight (8),
<br />(Township Eleven (11) North,Range Eleven (11),West of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, subject
<br />to the life estate hereinbefore given my beloved wife, to be his in fee.
<br />To my son Ernest Harders, I give and devise the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of Section Seventeen (17)
<br />Township Eleven (11), North Range Eleven (11) North,Ra -rige Eleven (11), West of the 6th P.M. Hall
<br />County, Nebraska., subject to the life estate hereinbefore given Amy beloved wife, to be his in fee.
<br />I give and devise the Southwest Quarter (SW ) of Section Sixteen (16)
<br />To my son Carl Harders, g � ,
<br />Township Eleven (11) North, Range Eleven (11), West of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, subject
<br />to the life estate hereinbefore given to my beloved wife, to be his in fee.

<br />To my son Hugo Harders, I give and devise the South Half of the Northeast Quarter (3'NE4) and
<br />Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SE4NW4) and the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast
<br />Quarter (NW-40 4) of Section Sixteen (16), 'Township Eleven (11),North,Range Eleven (11) West of the
<br />6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, subject to the life estate hereinbefore given my beloved wife, to
<br />be his in fee.

<br />All of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, wheresoever sit-
<br />uated, subject to the life estate hereinbefore given my beloved wife, I hereby devise and bequeath
<br />the same unto my children John Harders, Julius Harders, Emil Harders, Edith Eich, Ella Thomsen,
<br />Frieda, Hargens, Otto Harders, Ernest Harders, Carl Harders and Hugo Harders, share and share alike.
<br />I hereby appoint Herbert F.Mayer of Grand Island,Nebraska, Executor of this Will and hereby
<br />revok any and all former wills by me made.
<br />Done at Grand Isla.nd,Nebraska, this 20th day of January, 1941.

<br />We whose names are hereunto subscribed, do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument con-
<br />sisting of three pages, was signed by Martin Harders, the testator, in our presence and in the
<br />presence of each of us, and at the same time in our presence and hearing, he declared the same to
<br />be his last will and testament, and we at his special request, and in his presence and in the
<br />presence of each other, sign our names hereto as witnesses this 20th Nay of January, 1941.

<br />I, Paul N.Kirk, Judge of the County Court, in and for said County, do hereby certify that on
<br />the 8th day of March, 1943, the instrument purporting to be the last will and testament of Martin
<br />Hardens deceased, was filed for probate in this Court. That on the 14th day of April, 1943, said
<br />instrument to which this certificate is attached was duly proved, probated and allowed as the
<br />last will and testament of the real and personal estate of said Martin Harders, deceased, and
<br />the snme --as ordered to be recorded in the records of the Court aforesaid.
