<br />COUNTY OF HALL )ss. At a session of the County Court held in and for said County of Hall
<br />and State of Nebraska., this 15th day of September, 1943.
<br />Present: Paul N.Kirk, County Judge.
<br />BE IT REMEMBERED: that on the 23rd ca.y of .August, 1943, Maud E.Alden, Executrix under the Last
<br />Will and Testament and Codicil thereto of Amy D.Harrison, deceased, filed in this Court her final
<br />account as such Executrix and a petition praying that said account be approved, for a decree of
<br />heirship, an order of distribution, a, final settlement thereon, and discharge.
<br />For these purposes the 15th day of September,1943, at 10 o'clock A.M. at the County Court
<br />Room in said County, was assigned as the time and place for hearing said petition, examining and
<br />allowing said account; and that it was ordered that notice of the pendency of said petition be
<br />given to all persons interested in said estate by publishtng- said notice in the Grand Island In-
<br />dependent, a legal newspaper printed in said County, for three weeks prior to said day of hearing;
<br />and it appears by proof on file that said notice was given as ordered by Court and that no objections
<br />to said final account have been made or filed.
<br />Upon examination of the record and the evidence in this matter, and being duly advised in the
<br />premises, the Court finds as follows:
<br />FIRST
<br />That Amy D.Harrison departed this life on the 13th day of March, 1943, at her residence in
<br />Grand Island,Hal1 County, Nebraska,, testate, and at the time of her death she was a resident of
<br />Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />Second
<br />That on the 17th dsn.y of March, 1943, Maud E.Alden, filed in this Court an instrument purporting
<br />to be the Last Will and Testament of said Amy D.Harrison, deceased, and a codicil thereto, wherein
<br />said petitioner, Maud E.Alden, was named Executrix, and she filed a petition offering said Will
<br />and Codicil thereto for probate, alleging that said Amy D.Harrison denfited this life on March
<br />13, 1943, in Hall County, Nebraska, and on the 17th day of March, 1943, an order of this Court
<br />was made therein assigning the 9th day of April, 1943, at 10 o'clock A.M. in the County Court
<br />Room in said County, as the time and place for hearing said petition, proving said '4111 and
<br />Codicil thereto, and admitting the same to probate and ordering that notice of the pendency of
<br />said petition and hearing thereof be given to all persons interested in said matter by publishing
<br />said notice in the Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper printed in said County, for three
<br />successive weeks prior to said day of hearing, and it appears by proof on file that notice of said
<br />order was so given.
<br />THIRD.
<br />The Court further finds that on the 9th day of April, 1943, said instruments were duly proven,
<br />allowed and admitted to probate as the Last Will and Testament and Codicil thereto of the said
<br />Amy D.Harrison, deceased, which Last Will and Testament and Codicil thereto are in words as
<br />follows:
<br />I. Amy D.Harrison, widow, of Grand Island, Nebraska, being of sound mind and disposing memory,
<br />do make and publish this, my last will and testament, in the manner and form following, that is to
<br />say:
<br />FIRST
<br />I direct that my just debts, if Prey, and the expenses attending my burial, be first paid.
<br />SECOND.
<br />I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue, and remainder of the estate of which 'I
<br />shall die the owner, to my beloved daughter, Maud E.Alden, in the event she survives me, and in
<br />the event my said daughter, Maud E.Alden, should die before the time of my death, then and in
<br />that event I give, devise, and bequeath all the rest, residue, and remainder of the estate of
<br />which I shall die the owner, to my beloved grandchildren, Warren H.Alden and Velma Alden, share
<br />and share alike.
<br />THIRD
<br />I nominate and appoint my son -in -law, Mr. M.J.Alden, as Executor of this will.

<br />I, Amy D.Harrison, widow, of Grand Island,Nebraska, being of sound mind and disposing memory,
<br />do make and publish this codicil to my last will and testament heretofore executed on February 10,
<br />1925, in the manner ,and forrmfollowing, that is to say:
<br />FIRST
<br />I do hereby reaffirm all the terms and provisions, legatees, and devisees, in the said last
<br />will and testament contained, except only as hereinafter provided.
<br />SECOND. -)I
<br />I do hereby nominate and appoint my daughter, Maud E.Alden, now of Omaha,A as_executrix of my
<br />said last will and testament, and codicil thereto, in lieu of any executor heretofore named.
