<br />IN THE MATTER OF

<br />GEORGE BOCKMANN,
<br />IN THE COUNTY COURT OF HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA

<br />FINAL DECREE.
<br />At a session of the County Court held in and for said County of Hall
<br />and State of Nebraska, this 4th day of August, 1943, present: Paul
<br />BE IT REMEMBERED that^on the 10th day of July, 1943, Elsie Bockmann, Administratrix of the
<br />Estate of George Bockmann, deceased, filed in this Court her final account as such Administratrix
<br />and a petition praying that said account be allowed, for a decree of heirship, an order of distribu-
<br />tion, a final settlement thereon and discharge.
<br />For these purposes, the 4th day of August, 1943, at 10 o'clock A.M. at the County Court Room in
<br />said County was assigned as the time and place for hearing said petition, examining and allowing said
<br />account; and it was ordered that notice of the pendency of said petition be given to all persons
<br />interested in said estate by publishing such notice in the Grand Island Independent, a legal news-
<br />paper printed in said County, for three weeks prior to said day of hearing; and it appears by pub-
<br />lication on file that said notice was given as ordered by Court and that no objections to said final
<br />account have been made or filed.
<br />Upon examination of the record and the evidence in this matter and being duly advised in the
<br />premises, the Court finds as follows:
<br />FIRST
<br />That George Bockmann departed this life on the 29th day of November, 1942, at his home in Grand
<br />Island, Hall County, Nebraska, intestate, and at the time of his death he was a resident of Hall
<br />County, Nebraska.
<br />SECOND.
<br />That on the 19th day of December, 1942, Elsie Bockmann, widow, of said George Bockmann, deceased,
<br />filed in this Court a petition praying for the appointment of said Elsie Bockmann as Administratrix
<br />of the Estate of said deceased, and on the 19th day of December, 1942, an order of this Court was
<br />made therein, assigning the 14th day of January, 1943, at 10 o'clock A.M. at the County Court Room
<br />in said County as the time and. place for hearing said petition, and ordering that notice of the pen-
<br />dency of said petition and hearing thereof be given to all persons interested in said matter by
<br />publishing said notice in the Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper printed in said County
<br />for three successive weeks prior to said day of hearing, and it appears by proof on file that notice
<br />of said order was given as ordered by this Court.
<br />THIRD.
<br />The Court further finds that Elsie Bockmann named in said petition was, upon her giving bend
<br />in the sum of $3,000.00, as ordered by this Court, appointed Administratrix as prayed; the Court
<br />further finds that the deceased at the time of his death, was married and that he left the following
<br />heirs -at -law; Elsie Bockmann, his widow, Darlene Bockmann, his daughter, of the age of 11 years,
<br />and Randall Bockmann, his son, of the age of 9 yearsy
<br />FOURTH.
<br />That on the 22nd day of January, 1943, an order was mane herein allowing creditors three months
<br />from and after the 17th day of February, 1943, in which to file their claims against said estate
<br />and said Administra.trix one year in which to settle said estate, and further ordering that a notice
<br />to creditors be published in the Grand Island Independent, a legal newspaper published and circula-
<br />ting in Hall County, Nebraska, for three successive weeks prior said 17th day of February, 1943,
<br />and that a hearing on claims filed a ainst said estate would be at the office of the County Judge of
<br />Hall County, Nebraska, on May 20, 19+3, at 9 o'clock A.M., and it appears by proof on file that
<br />notice of said order was ?published as ordered by this Court.
<br />FIFTH.
<br />The Court further finds that on the 5th day of February, 1943, said Elsie Bockmann, as Adminis-
<br />tratrix, filed in Court her inventory of the property of said estate, and that according to said
<br />inventory, the deceased died seized and possessed of the following described property, to -wit:
<br />Lots Two (2), Three (3), Nine (9) Ten (10), Eleven (11), and Twelve (12), and the Southeast
<br />Quarter of the Southeast Quarter �S4 SEA) of Section Twenty -four (24), 'in Township Ten (10)
<br />North,Range Ten (10), West of the'6th P.M. in Hall County, Nebraska.
<br />An undivided one -third interest in the South Half of the Northwest Quarter (SiNWi) of Section
<br />Twenty -three (23) in Township Ten (10) North,Range Eleven (11),West of the 6th P.M. in Hall
<br />County, Nebraska.
<br />An undivided one -half interest in the East Half (E1) of Lot One (1), in Block Seven (7), in
<br />Ha.nn's Third Addition to the City of Grand Island,Nebraska.
<br />Miscellaneous personal property of the approximate value of 45,000.00.
<br />SIXTH.
<br />The Court further finds that according to the laws of descent and distribution, said property
<br />descends as follows: An undivided one -third share to each of the following: Elsie Bockmann, Randall
<br />Bockmann and Darlene Bockmann; that said Elsie Bockmann, as the widow of said George Bockmann, de-
<br />ceased, has a homestead in and to the undivided one -half interest in the East Half M) of Lot One
<br />(1) in Block Seven (7) in Hann's Third Addition to the City of Grand Island,Nebraska, which real
<br />estate was the home of said decedent and said Elsie Bockmann, at the time of his death.
<br />SEVENTH.
<br />The Court further finds that on the 21st day of April, 1943, R.Frederick Sinkbeil was appointed
<br />appraiser for inheritance tax purposes in said estate, that he took his oath and after notice and
<br />hearing, as by law required, on June 18, 1943, filed his report as such appraiser finding the net
<br />value of said estate at $9,971.30 and subject to no inheritance tax whatsoever.
<br />EIGHTH.
<br />The Court further finds that on the 20th day of May, 1943, an order of this Court was made
<br />barring all claims not -filed against said estate and allowing claims filed prior thereto; the
<br />Court further finds that all debts and claims against said. estate, including the costs of admin-
<br />istration in said estate, have been paid and that there remains in the hands of said Administra-
<br />trix for distribution, the sum of $858:83 in cash.
<br />NINTH.
<br />The Court further finds that after deducting from the assets of said estate, all debts, claims,
<br />costs of administration and all other proper expenditures and the statutory exemptions allowed
<br />the heirs -at -law in said estate, there iA due and payable to the County Treasurer of Hall County,
